GAME OVER

Adelaide 11.11 77
Sydney 6.17 53
An ordinary, disgraceful performance by the Swans. Poor kicking for goal (6 goals from 23 scoring shots) and turnovers from the backline cost us dearly. Won more of the ball, the hitouts and went into the forward 50 more often but to little effect.
ROK was clearly the best Swan on ground with 35 disposals (26 kicks and 9 handballs), 8 marks, 3 tackles and 5 free kicks for, but he had a less-attacking game.
B1, Grundy, Jolly, Kennelly, Kirk, Mattner, McVeigh, Moore and Richards played well although McHack kicked 4 behinds.
Bevan, Goodes, Hall, Jack, Mathews, MOD and LRT were ordinary at best and were well beaten. I wouldn't be surprised if Goodes doesn't play due to injury and Playfair will miss due to a hammy. Given injuries, I think Mathews will play next week (unfortunately) and that goal after the final siren may have cemented his spot for at least another week.
Luffy was right to give his worst on ground votes to Bevan (1 vote), Goodes (2 votes) and Hall (3 votes).
The Swans need a lot of soul searching to do after that woeful performance, coming up against the Western Bulldogs at Manuka where they'll probably play like they did when they towelled the Swans up earlier this year at the SCG. I expect several key changes to the lineup and goal kicking must be a priority for the Swans if there's ever a chance to knock off the 2nd best team this year.
The only positive is that we're still 4th on the ladder, 6 points clear of Collingwood, Adelaide, Brisbane and St. Kilda (4 points of North Melbourne if they win). A few threads on BigFooty have suggested teams are tanking to avoid a qualifying final against Geelong.
