I wouldn't touch the swans at anything under $5. Our Recent form has been crap and Geelong have beaten every team bar two by 40+ points since their Round 9 shocker against Collingwood.

While I'll hope for the miracle win, I won't be surprised to see us flogged either.

I'd prefer it to be on the last Sat in Sept. but Sat nite will do for starters.

what part of it makes him sound like a Richmond supporter?

If anything, Richmond supporters can be accused of being TOO passionate. For a side which has only made finals twice (iirc) in the past two decades, the support they have is quite remarkable.

Sounds like you've seen an idiot spit on tv and decided it would be clever to slap that label anyone who has anything critical to say about his team.

Have Geelong ever played at Stadium Australia?

I'll be tipping Geelong, but I think there's a very slight chance we'll win. The boys seemed very pumped in their little huddle after the Freo win - don't see that very often.

The good thing is that I think we'll be expected to lose, and that often seems to work in our favour.

Au contraire, I've sat near them in stands and witnessed them eating their young.

I would not be so quick to back your own judgement if I were you.

unless im taking you literally, I'd hazard to say that at any game of football in any code in the world, you will see a few supporters who are displeased with certain members of their team.

I hope it's a better match than your last visit to Sydney!! BTW for visitors to Sydney, your match ticket includes public transport to/from the game.

I am sorry, but when was the last time two forwards at the swans kicked 12 goals between them in one game???

Does that not at least make you a little bit more excited than any other game we have played this year?

With the current structure - Goodes marking everything coming his way and Hall playing second fiddle - I think the cats will not go into this game thinking it is a walk in the park.

I don't think the Cats ever go into any game thinking it will be a walk in the park. Have you not seen what they have done over the last two years? Even against the lowest teams in the comp, they make sure they play as hard as they can, week in, week out. It's why they are regarded by many as one of the best teams ever. They are not only talented, but consistent in the way they go about their footy.
