The Kangas with this list, failed last year miserably in finals.

It did, but sometimes it takes a finals failure before achieving some success. The Swans failed in 03 and 04 before successful efforts in 05 and 06 (and then failed again in 07). The Roos seem to be able to get up for the big games this year and fail against the weaker teams - opposite to the Swans really.

FWIW this years membership is 34,000 - probably a somewhat inflated figure, but it is still 34,000.

I went to the Adelaide v Sydney game two weeks ago. Not exactly a packed SCG from memory either.

Actually confident we'll still finish 4th. The weekend's result hasn't changed that as I didn't expect us to beat Geelong. We would've beaten most sides in the comp on Saturday night.
