Still you guys don't want to comment on your form against the top 8 teams this year. Do I have to put up the stats?

Well come in spinner. He got two kicks and a change of reg grundies against Paul Bevan. A real asset in tough take no prisoners finals football. He epitomises what is wrong with your mob. Can't hack it when the pressure is really on.Bevo bandwagon driverComment

Attn Connolly: So in post 35 you are talking finals, but in 36 you are not. Having it both ways a little i feel.
If you genuniely reckon that North haven't got value for money out of Shagga then methinks you are the one that is delusional......Comment

Hey, I am and admirer of the rooboys, i love the way you guys win games you shouldent. True our record against top 8 sides this year is nothing to write home about but, come september surely even you know its a different ball game. If we had to play either kangas or Bulldogs in September, I'd be more than happy. Would rather stay away from teams like Cats, hawks, crows and Pies. In other words teams with finals experience.Comment

A bankrupt organization can get value out of anything I suppose. But the point is that Shagger is stuffed when it comes to finals football. Intensity is lifted a notch and shagger is shagged. He epitomises the inadequacies of the current teams in a finals environment. They are too slow, not skillful enough to control games and try to play a gameplan that is beyond the capabilities of the players. Grant plays well on the fringes and outside the packs. You simply have too many below par footballers in the side and rely too heavily on that little pest Harvey. Don't start me on Simpson.Bevo bandwagon driverComment

As for the Swans chances of a top-four finish, they rest with the Collingwood game in round 21. We need to win 2 games to stay fourth, assuming that the favourites win the other five matches. Geelong and Collingwood are the two sides we need to beat, and on recent form Collingwood are more likely to yield us four points.
I don't see it happening either.
On the other hand, the Cats are due for a loss.
A win against Colliwobbles will require a big change in attitude from us.... they could stuff us again, like last years finals.Comment

Kangaroos just do well when it doesn't matter, we're right on target to do well this year. Just need to make the finals and take it one step at a time from there, we do have the experience during finals - with guys like McVeigh, O'Keefe and co stepping up to the plate and a mixture of youth (Veszpremi) this year does look pretty promising.Comment

We don't hear from Kanga for weeks and then he crawls out from under his rock when the Roos have a sniff. Classic fair weather trollComment

Kanga,
1999 is nearly 10 years ago , so move on now cobber.
Shagga is 10 years older now & not the player he was.
Love the Roos, admire what they stand for and remind me alot of us actually in 2005-2006 playing well with a good group that believe in a game plan and play for a very good and I mean very good game day coach.
Your right as well we have not beaten anyone of quality this year , though the Roos have been grand. Our form against Top 8 sides this year is poor, Still we did Draw with you blokes, and we beat StKilda whom you blokes failed to conquer. We were competitive against the Cats,Hawks, and The Bulldogs both times though lacking when it mattered. SEPTEMBER , though is different Kanga. The Kangas with this list, failed last year miserably in finals.
We are going ordinary at the moment though still sit 4th and with some quality players due to come back in the next couple of weeks, things can turn around pretty quickly. The Roos are at their peak right now. Can you hold it all the way through is the big question yet to be answered.
As of game plans, I rekon ours has a better record in finals than the Roos.
Kanga, your mob play for their lifes every week and will always continue to do that, and as Connolly stated The Kangas will always rely on a Chook Raffle and a BBQ to raise funds as many of your 27000 members dont bother attending the footy.22,000 at the Demons game 2 weeks ago. When you guys start struggling, their will be nobody to help you this time and all your members who signed for this year wont be around again.
Will they all be their next year again, the year after, the year after that ??
Your club is on its own now , all by yourself.
September will be here shortly, and Im pretty confident in saying when the big games in September roll around the Roos will buckle like they did 07. As for us I really dont know, though wouldnt mind getting your mob at all in SEPTEMBER , rekon we can win even with 18 men !!Est 1874
