If we had both Kerr and ROK, would be awesome, but we need the zip in the middle, and DK brings that..who else is worth a first rounder on our list? Our pick alone wont be high enough.
For Wells, our first rounder would do it..
Lovett is worth a second rounder and would really add some zip as well, if we can keep his head right.

I didnt know it was april fools day, because that is the biggest trade joke i've heard.

Not a chance in hell that would happen.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

        Why do you say that?

I would also put Brabazon in the same category as Schmidt. IMO Schmidt has a greater upside for the Swans than Braba.

I feel Schmidt will ask to be traded to one of the Sth Aust clubs Lack of
          opportunity being the reason .

O'Keefe is widely regarded as one of the best half forwards in the AFL. To give up him and
a first round pick for Kerr is overkill IMO. Kerr is good, but not that good.

I don't think O'Keefe is worth more than Kerr for trading. Probably about the same.

To get rid of ROK would be a disgrace.

Yeah, but he was dropped after the Port game which seemed bizarre at the time.

So the poor guy cops a season ending knee injury and the RWO mob wants to trade him? I thought it'd be bad on here this week. Time to go fishing ....

Most in the thread want to keep him.

We should keep Tim. He is a bit of a nugget, in and under midfielder who can also kick goals.

Ryan is worth more than Kerr. Kerr is a risk. You never know who he is going to headbutt on or off the field. We would look quite foolish if we traded Ryan and Kerr spends half the season out suspended or injured (he does seem to get injured quite often).

What about trading Ablett? Surely just the name would be worth a bit

I haven't seen alot of Schmidt, but what I did see I liked a lot. I actually thought he had a bit of pace as well as being hard at the contest. Always a risk after doing a knee though and usually takes a full year to get confidence back. Other clubs know this so for trade he's worth about nil. Trade ROK? Is that a joke? Lets trade BBH and Mick while we're at it! Fair dinkum, you'd think we just got beat by the last placed club by 100 or so. We do need some zip thru the middle and if it was possible Kerr might be better off in a non AFL town, like Plugger was and BBH, that's the only reason for him to come here though ffrom his perspective, why wouldn't you go to Carlton if they gave you the right money, expect them to go well next year and they want him, or so the experts say, of course, they've been wrong before(so have I). Trade this and pick that. Our older players deserve the chance to make up their own minds when it's time to go, for all we know Leo played half the year with a broken arm, wuldn't surprise me, great servant of the club and should be given the respect due. Same with the rest of the boys. It's not like we finished last or were complete duds for the year
