We don't need the Dogs' draft picks. We need one of their quality, fast, onballers. They've got heaps. A Swans/Dogs trade would be a definite win/win IMO.

Dumbest. Rumor. Ever.
BH is going nowhere. He's our premiership captain and will remain a Swan till he's 6 feet under.
And to those naysayers who are stating that our 'premiership window' is shut:
Must suck to be you.Damn that Sorcerer! Twenty gold pieces and I'm wankered on rohypnol!Comment

Life sucks when you think your team is out of the race for the time being.

Seriously?
Barry has no trade value whatsoever.
He's still contracted and it would cost whatever team that wants him an awful lot of money to take on that contract. Is he worth it???
He's on the wrong side of 30.
He's as blind as a bat.
He still has a bad attitude problem.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

He is for a team like the Bulldogs. They are a key forward short of being a genuine challenger. It would be worth 2-years of a big contract and a decent trade amount if it gives them a flag.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

If they are going to off load a first round pick for Hall then they are looking for a stop gap signing to snare a premiership next year.
Thompson for free would probably give exactly what the Doggies are looking for, a bail out go long option when under pressure.
Hall is no different to someone like Robert Murphy, he works his player over and plays his best football when he is getting space and moving laterly.
Hall and Murphy are quite different as the former is significantly stronger than the latter. The two in tandem would be great for the 'Dogs as one of them would get a weaker defender and that would then give Johnson and Welsh weaker defenders.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

How about we smash this premiership window? So over this whole "premiership window" ideology, same goes with "rebuilding" and other phrases invented by clubs to justify their @@@@ness for a few seasons so members can stay on board. All of it is rubbish.
Now hall, yes as much as my heart says NO there is some ligic and merrit behind a trade. We need pace and we need asap and the bulldogs need a power key forward. I honestly think Barry is not done yet. The way he was moving around in the last few games was supurb. He still has pace and strenth and grunt.
BUT is Barry prepared to move back to Melbourne and be under constant media scrutiny as he was with St Kilda? Is he matured these days to be able to deal with it?
There are some variables in all this but ATEOTD i can't see it happening. Same as ROk not going anywhere.
How about Nick Davis to the dogs? But for who and for what?Comment

I don't think Baz has two more years left in him.
The way he's been "stopping a punch" from landing about 2mm from people's faces lately (he did it a few times in the last couple of games), says to me that he'll be very lucky if he manages to go for another (full) year without spending a lot of that time on the suspension bench. He's very close to the edge and I don't think moving to the footy fishbowl in Melbourne will help that.
Ohhhhhhh .... at the end of the day ... thanks NMW.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
