Just re-read it, I see what you mean now.

There's one team who's premiership window is still well and truly open and who desperately need a quality forward. Geelong.

If it's the Catters, who would they likely give up to get ROK?

Interesting comments by Paul Roos in the Adelaide Advertiser of all places today:

Trade week will spark, as Sydney coach Paul Roos put it, "so much bull@@@@".

"Everyone tells each other outright lies . . . it's just impossible," said Roos.
              Article
I wonder who is telling the lies in this case? A manager trying to get a 4 year deal from the club or the club trying to protect a bargaining position in trade week?

A first round pick? We did it for Jolly in 04.

I dont know but surely the Cat's salary cap is starting to feel a bit squeezed, whereas ours would have a bit of room in it now that Spida has gone.

Recruiting an All Australian premiership player won't help their salary cap issues.

Seems unlikely given salary cap pressures and they have a few project FFs.

Agree. BBH to Doggies for their first round pick and we have three picks in first round.

That would be exciting in a very promising draft.

Brilliant. With a little work he could become a defensive small which we free Bevan up to go into the midfield.

As long as we can hang on to those players rather than have them turn into Grants, Roccas or Fitzgeralds.

True, just wondering whether we could pick up a couple of good players in a trade with the Cats.

Given ROK's kicking for goal is arguably worse than Mooney's, I fail to see how he would improve their forward line.

Bevo's already got dibs on O'Keefes forward line spot
