Or another way of looking at it, St Kilda second pick (29?) and Sam Gilbert.

Love ROK and if he wants to stay then end of discussion, but it does give us some capacity to end up with two 1st rounders in a strong draft and a ready made fringe player to help over the next couple of years.

If we ended up with 12 and either of 16. 15, 14 I would want us to go KP all the way.

If we are talking Mitch Thorp, it maybe a straight swap.

I don't think it could be done, but imagine Mitch Thorp for ROK, Kerr for our 12?

Pace to the midfield and a young KP forward..................

Well since we will be seeing ROK on Friday night at the Club Champion dinner should we all just go up to him and ask the question why?
See how annoyed he can get, maybe one of us will get a good answer out of him!!

Crap. I sure picked the right time to go on off-season posting leave, one day in and O'Keefe wants to leave

Still, hope it ain't so, and if it is, fingers crossed that St. Kilda was one of his nominated clubs and Ross can give us one back after the Schneider/Dempster trade... *sigh*

I'm still devastated at the news though, I always saw him as a one-club player...though I am confident that if the rumours are true, a deal can be done that works for us.

And there is Henry Playfair to save us as well. How could we ever go wrong? *VOMIT*

The rebuilding will be on in earnest in 09 I think. Watch members vanish into thin air as we tumble down the table

He maybe doesn't see the Swans prospects as too bright for the remainder of his career. Wouldn't be surprised if he wants to play with a modern philosophy running team like Geelong. He must get frustrated that he is among the first to show initiative to run into space most of the time at Sydney. But am still really amazed considering his future captain possibility.

Good bye & good riddance. Might finally get a player who can run, mark, run, kick and run.

That reads like a balanced, non-hysterical article where the writer has done a little research. Let him find out his market value, come back and tell the Swans and hopefully they'll be prepared (and able) to pay it.

According to Radio reports, he is more than likely to stay.
