What was their tip view on ROK? Did you speak to him?

Jude Bolton was on Ryan's table....whatever that means (nothing) and Ryan looked as happy as the rest of the guys all night. Get off his case for gawd's sake. He mixed as well as the rest of them from what I could see and he was as interested as anyone in the long Roos tribute - I know because I could see him from 2 tables away. He didn't run away when the formalities were over, and his interactions with Roosy on stage during his life membership presentation were professional and dignified with absolutely no sign of tension or the kind of childish shenanigans some on here seem to wish had occured.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

A table containing Jolly ..Hall..Buchanan who all arrived late and looking tardy
seemed very disinterested in the preceedings at hand,,rather enjoying there own enterainment
FYI there were some hold ups on certain routes into this venue, and if you didn't know your way in, it gets messy. Joll's wife is nearly due. There are any number of reasons why these guys and their ladies were late. Me, I was tragically early.

also FYI, if ROK had his back to the MC all night, so did Kirky. The tables are ROUND, and there were bigscreens both sides of the room, so they didn't have to keep switching their chairs around. I know about Kirky, cos I was lucky enough to be in a direct line of sight, and enjoyed the view.

However, ROK was not flavour of the month, but he was not totally ignored either. He and Jude were with a table of family and it was buzzing.

Best line of the night came from Keiran's father, Gary. He was explaining to someone that Keiran was a Tiger Swan, not just a Swan. He is a very proud father, and at that stage a particularly happy one.

To be honest, the boys were great, most of them very friendly and happy to oblige, with smiles and hugs. And I caught Jake standing on his toes when I tried to get a photo of him with my friends - couldn't work out how I wasn't able to get them into the shot all at once!

Pav set an AFL record by taking his 5th one.

Okeefe wanting to leave and his ?performance? at the best and fairest are starting to make sense to me now.

I remember when I met him I said gday ryan can you sign my Guernsey please, he looked at me and sure mate and smiled and signed it and said see ya.

Now as he said that I read between the lines and saw a look in his eyes that said to me , hey I hate this club, im only here for the cash, sure I will play a few more years, but its all an act, in 2008 im gonna leave. I also really hate the best and fairest and I hate the supporters and I am soo disinterested. The coaching staff are a joke and I hope we lose every game

I remember then thinking he just wasn?t a team player. His behaviour is not a surprise to me
