McHack was being interviewed on the 6pm radio news last night basically saying "don't get your hopes up".

Wrong attitude. They gotta go in there fighting.

    Percentage. Percentage. Percentage.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Not sure you can call him McHack anymore. I think there was a memo.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

        Yeah. I can.
        It's his pet name.

          You can after that comment.

I don't expect us to win but it seems pretty defeatist from the get go IMHO.

Anyone want to chart the number of times that we say the opposition is a shoe in and then blitz them vs saying "we're giving them respect" and then failing to do that?

Remember "come see Buddy", "the Blues are too good for us with all its young stars"? When I heard similar comments for the Cats, I saw a glimmer of hope that we may pull off the surprise win that I've tipped.

Of course, the Cats are the best team I've seen for ages. Losing Gaz is a big help but I reckon that our chances may depend on Ling - he seems to dominate and remain untouched whenever he plays us. He's just so strong and fearless - I wonder if the Moose would like a run with the ranga?

              The coach says:

We need to play four quarters (like we haven't done before this year).

There's a David Attenborough Doco in that. It would look good in Imax.

[QUOTE=anniswan;436827]this email from the club should give us all confidence.

                    Fast footy facts:

The Swans have not beaten Geelong at Skilled Stadium since round eight, 1999.

The Swans have not beaten Geelong in the 2:10pm timeslot since round three, 1998.

                    QUOTE]

Add that since 1991, Sydney has only one twice (98 and 99) in 11 attempts at the Cattery.

Jack, Pyke, Grundy, LRT, J Bolton and Brett Kirk's kicking is all well below par. Brett Kirk is a great player. Marty or LRT should not be doing kick outs, please leave to R Shaw.

We dont have enough skillful and talented players, we dont need no more rugby or basketball players. They will never be gifted players, you cant change a donkey into a race horse. Ur a footy player or not.

I felt for Hall today, the balls into the 50 were shocking and the decision making by some of our players when on the ball is the worst in the comp.
Good job we have lots of heart....
There are better footballers in Ireland and in the WAFL than Jack, Pyke and Grundy

We are so far behind the black ball its frightning.
