Max has definitely done the job on Goodes in the past - Ling might've had a crack, when Rooke's been out injured.

Ling and Harley to play this week, according to last night's news.

I never, ever, ever tip against the swans.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

          What he said.
We will be within a couple of goals late in the third, only for that bloody Chapman to kick two quick ones. They will then close out the game in the final quarter 4.2 to 1.4 to win by ~34pts.

I hear that Swans are now paying $7 and Cats $1.08 and $2.11 for the Swans with a 33pt start..... Might get a sly twenty out there.

What exactley is a SLY twenty RP? I was thinking about putting on a LAZY twenty on the swans with a 4 goal head start at $4. Is there a difference between a SLY $20 and a LAZY $20?

A lazy twenty will win but you'll have to get up and collect the money yourself, a sly twenty will win but wont even tell you about it.

With a shootout, we going to an area where we seldom go before with Geelong. Crabbing often - we have done that and failed miserably or not won convincely against top fast pack running teams today.

Crabbing allow them to hide their most vulnerable state as the fast running Geelong pack would be breathless at their atacking forward end. When they are breathless, they are likely to make mistakes and not able to run with us. Best opportunity to counter attack, I feel.

Crabbing pumps O2 to our opponents for that few critical seconds - they gather their breath, position better in all areas of the ground while we move forward inches only from crabbing to left or right of the horizontal lines from the posts.

If it comes to a shootout, our forwards are more dangerous, I feel. Thier midfield, again talked up by our coach and (now) by our key player, will be out of the equation more of the time. Kicking mid & longer distance accurately bypassing their standed mob attack group, very cool side-stepping, ride on marks, more setup plays, super quick kicks-in, 110% intensity form the very first minute - these would raise our heatbeat 30% or more, heating/steaming up our bodies from watching.

Smart shoot out could be the answer to Geelong.

How do you define smart shoot-out?
That is what the coaches are paid for, not come up the same crab & crap approach for Geelong per past games.

Start by telling the opponents that we have a plan, instead of talking them up. Full stop. Suddenly, they will wonder and feel 1% unsure.

We just have to try something different, at least 30% of the time on the field if coaches & players are not game enough for 4 quarters.

Im not 100% sure what it means, but I guess it refers to a propensity to move laterally rather than forward. Sounds more like a game of cards involving wet sores. But tasty.
