The cats in a thriller for mine guys. Does anyone know if Goodesy is interested at the moment? Maxy Rooke usually keeps him pretty quiet so I expect another downer from him this week. If ROK turns up to play then we are a realistic chance of winning.

            Head thinks:
We just got over the Tigers at home on a beautiful sunny day. Away from home, against a better team, in the cold & wet (most likely), playing half a dozen kids....

            Cats by a fair amount.

Actually its Ling that tears Goodes a new one and he isn't playing. Swans will win bookmark it. MOL, Hall, Moore, ROK, Grundy, etc its looking like a much better forward line. If the midfield can play well I think we can win it. Intensity is the key and the Swans will be working on that all week.

If we crab sideways all the way, looking for boundary we will be playing to their strength and game from the very first minute and we get the craps. It will be torture to watch. We might as well not turn up.

If we return fire with fire, we have higher chances of getting the points as our forward look more dangerous. This is the game that more of faster runners are given the freedom to counter attack fast. Rather than worrying who to tag. Quick kick-ins are crucial to attacks when they are at thier weakest-out-of-breath position from their attacks.

It is not possible that they have 25% bigger lungs and able to run 25% more. You would see the bulging ballooning chest if they are of a special breed/genetics.

We should grab them by their throats and don?t release them for most time on the field.

When we are on top, then we take breathers at our choosing by crabbing side ways, diagonally, backwards, V shape, other more imaginative Swan ways for a few minutes and return to relentless attack till the last minute.

If we are to lose, we might as well go down fighting the new way for four intensive quarters. It will silence most critics in RWO, including this writer. And more importantly, we learn from the new way to counter Geelong type of play. If we crab all day, we never going to learn and the coaches are not as smart as they think they are

Hopefully a close, hard slog which will tire you for the next week.

Are you suggesting the Swans engage in a shootout?
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I heard last night that Tom Harley will come back this week.I doubt that he'll go through the two's as he is Captain. He'll probably pick up O'Keefe or Meredith as I imagine he will play on the flank first up.

I like your way of thinking there Yuri - I will be doing likewise!!! I would love for us to pull off the upset of the season - but even without Ablett - they have such a classy outfit no amount of positive thinking can change the reality that Geelong will win and that we should chalk this on one up as an honourable loss (if its a close one). so who is going to back the Swans in their footy tipping comp then ???
