Look, the incident shouldn't have happened, it does just add to my bad record, it is very disappointing and I do regret it ? all those things, but for some people to come out and say it's a disgrace that I won a premiership and that I am a selfish player and person, that crosses the line as far as I'm concerned. I am not making one excuse for anything I've done throughout my career, I never have and won't, and I am prepared to cop all the crap for what I have done, but for people to suggest I'm selfish is ridiculous. As one of my teammates said, if I was so selfish, I wouldn't have passed up the chance to win a Coleman Medal in 2005, and had a record number of goal assists in that final game against Hawthorn.

Barry Hall may quit Sydney Swans

I didn't actually see a quote in the article that supported this headline, but if this does occur, I'll be interested to see the reaction from those so vigourously supporting him in other threads

So a you saying Cap?n is not the captain? He is was not the leader of the new ?Bloods?? Which ever way you look at it Kirk, rightly or wrongly, has been the face of the ?Bloods? and what they stand for.
If Kirk, as captain, feels his team cannot trust Hall anymore he should let Baz know.
I am with you Wardy, in that it should be kept in-house until a decision is reached but it seems that chance has gone.
I thought Akers column about trust made a good read. (shocked myself there) Barry Hall's big trust issues

I cannot see another club taking a punt on a 32 year old player with a chequered disciplinary record at his current salary. Perhaps if he lowered his wage demands he could do so, but surely the lure of the boxing riches would dwarf the prospect of playing for peanuts for another club.

Bulldogs might consider him for a year or two. He'd enjoy being a lead-up forward with their superb kickers.

I agree, Doggies need a big aggressive forward to have any real crack at a flag. It'll cost them nothing in terms of players And will be a nice little reunion with Eade who brought BBBH to Sydney in the first place.

B2 and co. would look forward to this. Not.

Would be an interesting Matchup. Our best fwd, against our best back man.

Carlton, the Dogs or Adelaide would all look interesting with Bazza in their teams.

Personally I hope he stays with us but I reckon he's resigning himself to go.

You know, sadly I think you are right - but he may get a call up should a babysitter be required for Kirky's kids coz he can be trusted with them!

Maybe Baz wants to go to another team so that he can play the Swans, deck Kirk, and retire?

Craig Bolton would eat him for breakfast, he regularly plays on better forwards than Barry and beats them week in week out

I don`t know what the swans will do without Hall.
Take all the goals his kicked this year and you`ll have the red and whites coming last...

His coaching is stale, and he never backs his players..
every other coach backs his players, without players playing for you, The coach will be gone... ROOS wake up,,,
                              Seriously???

                              Indeed.

I often wondered what we'd do without Kells.

BUT, as mad as I am at Hall, as disappointed as I am in him, how much I want to give him a slap, I don't want him to go......perverse of me I admit, but even after everything he has done, over the years I mean, I still want to give the silly beast a hug.
