    Roos is wrong

To come out and gently nudge Hall like he did on Ch 10 news tonight was pretty disgusting IMO.
I've never come out and criticised Roos before.
I've had a go at our game plan, but never the man himself.
I'd rather have everything like this kept in house.

Roos pretty much said that it was time for Hall to go.
Makes it pretty hard for Hall to move forward from here.
Sad that it may end this way....

Roos didn't say that. Roos said they'll be having a chat about his future, and pointed out that at the moment, Hall is not playing like he wants to be out there. Roos is very much putting the ball in Hall's court. The media of course like to spin it whichever way sells the most papers, but the message to Hall will be crystal clear.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

        No he didn't say that.
He "pretty much said that" as I wrote.
        He implied that.
        He intimated that.
Didn't really leave much up to interpretation.

So unlike Paul to effectively end a player's career at the club and destroy his prospects elsewhere by using the media to air the club's dirty laundry (and his own personal frustration).

I consider Roos to be a good to very good coach and an arrogant, stubborn, manipulative and slightly vindicitve person with all the media savvy to (a) get what he wants and (b) construct the "smooth operator" and "butter would not melt in his mouth" image of himself as the greatest Swan of all time.

I have no idea of the man's politics byt Malcolm Turnbull could learn a thing from Paul (though that's not saying much, Malcolm could learn a thing or two off anyone with half an ounce of political nous).

I hope he retires it would be doing us a favour if you ask me. Enough is enough. I really don't give a @@@@ about how well he has been playing - that really isn't the point.

The fact of the matter is that we shouldn't allow senior players to behave like he has over the last 2 years.

...should still keep all of this in-house I reckon.

As much as Barry @@@@@s all of us by belting people and getting rubbed out...the career decision should stay with him.

God I hate this crap sometimes....we wouldn't have won a premiership without him! And I would like to think he would want to work with the Swans post retirement to get some of these young forwards going.

Please (my prayer to the footy gods) don't let this be feral!!

Obvioulsy we are not privvy to the whole story but maybe, after the last incident the 'leadership' group let Baz know if he punches on again or something similar they will want him to move on.
Maybe Hall can't see what the problem is, lord knows he can never see any of the frees he gives away (the "I didn't even touch him sir" throw of the hands in the air), and Roos has had to make the comments less subtle. ?????
I am disappointed that Hall is considered the premiership captain, Kirky is that man (I realise is was all about rotations and timing but it still sucks.)

I got the impression that Bazza's Harold the Helicopter impersonation is coming to an end very quickly.

I'm not sure if it was Roos using the media to get the point through to Barry but remember he did the same thing pretty much with Nick Davis and he never came back.

I think the Club will strongly suggest that Hall retires immediately. It will be up to Barry but if he decides to stay and ask for another chance, it should be the last chance.

As it is now, he has made a laughing stock of the "Bloods Leadership group"'. Well Barry has really coagulated it and who is really left of this group now. Only Kirky on half a leg in retirement and Goodes.

The Roos has said the individual should never be bigger than the Club and maybe it might be the end for Barry whether he likes it or not. All the Club has to do is stand him down for 5 to 6 weeks after suspension and it is all over red rover.

Hey! we wouldn't won a flag without Nick Davis.

Hall's leaving soon he may as well go now and give the young forwards a bit more of a chance to get some ball.

Have just seen part of Roos' comments on OTC. Don't really have a problem with anything he said, though admittedly he didn't pull any punches. Firstly, bear in mind he was responding to questions and Barry Hall was clearly the subject most journos would want to talk to him about this week.

He "pretty much" just said that Hall is not currently playing/behaving as if he wants to be on the football field at the moment and/or wants to be at the Swans. And given the divergence between what Barry keeps saying about turning over a new leaf and earning back his reputation as a footballer, it's understandable where Roos is coming from. Past incidents could have been attributed to Hall being frustrated at the moment by his perception of being hard done by by the umpires (justified or not) but this incident can't be explained that way.

My understanding is that Barry was dropped from the leadership group after Staker?
