I was just thinking, since we r going for a key forward, maybe we should take a look at Trent Hentschel (sorry about spelling)

Reasonable player, but reports are that his very bad leg break means he will never perform to the standard he promised pre the injury.

I think with White, Johnston and possibly Murphy along with a move forward for Goodes for the rest of his career we have enough tall forward options.

A mid aged experienced outside midfielder of KP defender would be more prudent but only with our third pick in the 40's.

The current 8th or 24th need to be retained for the draft.

Hentscell and Maguire are both coming off serious leg breaks and both continually break down.I watched Luke Ball on Saturday and the commentators continually spoke of his poor disposal (which was evident) and they suggested that's the reason he has been out of favour.
The rumour mill has it that Hawthorn are going hard to get big Cox from the Weagles so that would change Seaby's position at the West Coast.
There is no way that Josh Kennedy will leave the Hawks as his family history is so strong there and he is playing well now.

The concept of the Dorks trying to get Cox could provide some trade week entertainment.

For starters, Cox will need to fit under their "flat" salary cap structure and accept that if he wants the certainty of playing in a premiership with the Hawks he'll need to play for no more than 400k. After all, he couldn't be paid more than Buddy and co. And the Hawks don't really need him - they have the deepest ruck division in the league with the potential to be the bestest.

Pelchen will start negotiations for a trade by declaring pick 7 (or 8 or 9) is definitely not on the table and will open the bidding at a straight swap for Simon Taylor. Reluctantly he'll add someone like Jarryd Morton to the deal come Wednesday morning of trade week. On Wednesday evening of trade week he will make mumblings about the Hawks' top 10 pick possibly being available, but only if West Coast put pick 5 (or whatever they get) into the deal in exchange. After all, Cox will be 29 before next season is over and he's going to mess with the Hawks "youngest ever" mantle.

Not a snowflakes chance in hell that Cox will leave the Eagles
