That's a few weeks now that Dan has had a tough post match interview. The passion in this kid is just amazing. I can tell you now I'm very proud to have a kid like this in our team. Future Captain i'm sure and it's such a pleasure to watch him growing up in our Club. Well done Dan - keep going hard mate!
Yeah +1, I 'd like to put a 1 in front of that 4 on his guernsey, he is our next Kelly/ Skilton no doubt. He's a pure footy player. No disrespect to Goodsie ( one of the all time greats) but Hanners would of kicked that goal ....he's Captain material.

No disrespect to Hanners, but he's one of the last I'd have given it to....

If I had to choose I'd have chosen LRT. Kicks very straight and has wonderful temperment.

Exactly. Great young player but his disposal by foot is suspect.

I would've gone for LRT, TDL or Goodes (yes I know he missed but it wasn't a bad kick).

I doubt anyone in the side would have kicked that goal more than 5 out of 10 and that's being generous. It was a big kick, with lots of pressure. Goodsey put in a huge effort.

Also didn't Hanners miss one from a similar distance on a slight angle in the same quarter?

                  Regardless, gun in the making.

I reckon Marty or Eski would be better than a 50/50 chance.
Then again, Marty would probably run slightly off the mark, ala Buddy Franklin, but get pinged for playing on.

If my calculations are correct Hanners will play 50 games in round 24. What a way to end the H & A season

I initially thought it was finals but my calculations have been proven incorrect ... So exciting and will be good to have the attention on him for the last round! (He has been noticed a lot this week after his actions against Essendon last week - well deserved!)
