Oh hell - another milestone game. Time to break the spell Hanners!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

If the numbers in the Ryan O'Keefe interview are correct, it'll also be Nick Smith's 50th. So it's like reverse jinx...

I certainly hope so - these are two blokes who really deserve a win.

            Hanners - 50 games, wow that's amazing!!!!
Anyone know who and how old the youngest player was to hit 200?
Whoever it was, surely Hanners (if he keeps going like he is) will give that record a mighty big shove!

Well, not if he keeps doing dumbass things like running back into packs like last weekend. Sure, I get it, he's bizarrely brave, but that sort of effort could easily have lead to serious damage, Lonergan or Richards style internal injuries.

Pick your moments Hanners! That said, it was breath-taking to watch and then to see him play an outstanding last qr, well the kid is pretty damn special.

Didn't Tim Watson start playing when he was 16?
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I think it was Tim Watson at the Dons. He played his first game at 15 & 305 days

Collier played 207 games with Collingwood and Fitzroy between 1925 and 1942 but Tim probably got to 200 quicker.

Thanks for that info Aardie, any chance you could find a list of how old players were when they played 200 games?

Apparently there are 455 players who have 200 or more games. Finding how old they were when they played their 200th may be a bit tricky.

                              I found this...

Fastest to 250 games ? Adam Goodes, Sydney Swans. Adam is due to play his 250th game this week and will become the second-fastest person in history to reach this milestone, coming 10 years and 140 days after his debut. The fastest players to 250 games in history are Wayne Schimmelbusch (10 years, 113 days), Ben Hart (11 years, seven days), Brad Johnson (11 years, seven days), Craig Bradley (11 years, 27 days) and Andrew McLeod (11 years, 28 days).
