Over on BS, I mean BF, someone is claiming he has, tonight, confirmed he is coming back on a 2 year deal.

Kennelly has accepted a two-year contract with the Swans and will be training with them in the next week.

The club was told tonight. Kennelly has said he feels loyalty to Sydney, admits he walked out on them, says Saints/Ross Lyon made an offer but he was only ever going to return to the AFL with Sydney.

Apparently, he's quite fit and healthy.

Yeah Michael Cowley confirmed on real footy that Rossy himself confirmed the 2 year deal....

TK also revealed that Lyons had made an offer to him. Would not be too sure how this fits with Roos and co; would have thought that he owed Roos and the Swans a bit more than that. Had a lot of respect for Lyons previously, but he seems to have become very narrow and one dimensional in his approach. I am sure there is more in the Luke Ball story and this latest saga with TG is beginning to reveal a side of his character, unknown to most before now.

What an absolute joke.

Putting aside the way the club has indulged him, does anyone seriously believe his body's going to hold up to the rigours of AFL for another two years? We don't need an ageing player, past his prime, taking a developmental spot from a younger player. Recruiting Bradshaw was one thing, but bringing back Kennelly? Please.

Sounds like the club has had a rush of blood to the head about our short-term prospects. What's the bet Kennelly gets injured before even half the season is over?
