I might fly down to Melbourne on Ansett to watch the next NAB Cup game!

Top 200 possibly, just. He won't be playing AFL in 2 years time, he is and always has been very ordinary.

I call it the Ansett Cup because that's how relevant it is.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

What's the rule with releasing the ball at stoppages? One of our blokes got pinged 50m for leaving the ball on the ground after a stoppage. What's the rule there and how on earth is that worth 50m?

If he dropped it he would be pinged as he didn't return the ball to the player whose free it was. That's my understanding of it anyway.

So that was you. I was sitting in a fold out chair just at the top of the stairs. Had my 8 yr old in hysterics and joining in with the throw in hoooo.

You guys did a fine effort with trying to get the mexican wave going.

It was the only atmosphere on the ground. Cheers Squad must have had night off.

McGlynn's disposal is a sign of things to come. He used to get loads of the ball at the Hawks and turned it over a hell of a lot.

Awesome win, very, very exciting team.

                      My 2 cents worth:

                      - Jetta = star in the making. For a small guy he sure can kick the ball.
                      - Jude Bolton - great start to the year, looks hungry, one of our best
                      - Pyke > Currie
                      - Bevan - not a massive fan, but thought he played very well and liked his toughness. Didn't massively stuff anything up either.
                      - Rohan - Will be interesting to see if Roos picks him this year. Looks exciting.
                      - TDL - Too much hype was always going to make it hard for him. Hope they stick with him, looks good.
                      - Eski/Tadhg - good to have them back
                      - Richards - played well, good disposal
                      - Sumner - not sure how much game time, but was very very quiet

Cheer squad don't do enough in my opinion. Except Benny, he is a legend. We tried with the countdown and the wave, got a bit of excitement generated, but these things need to be choreographed. March 6th, donkey kong.

I thought all our young players did well and hopefully they all will get even better....dnt forget we hav a few players to come back in...so all in all i think our 2010 season will be good.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

                            - Eski/Tadhg - good to have them back
                            ...
The two things I thought were great to come out of the night.
Jetstar's super goal, he looked like he was coasting after the initial first couple of steps, whilsts the Blue behind him was bustin' a gut.
The Eski looks like he may have the magic back. Hopefully the other Dream Team/Super Coach hopefuls out there believe this :

                            "BURY 'EM"
It seems the dashing half back will never return to the heights he reached before wrecking his knee two years ago.
