I am with you Lucky. At least we got content; and the delightfully even and honest Luke Darcy. And I heartily concur with the comment about the Perth connection, especially Gossage (shudder).

I do agree..last night's commentary was much better than last week's. It was good that they could laugh at themselves with the "have we mentioned he won the Grand Final sprint" as they realised they were getting repetitive.

I think Kelli Underwood was just nervous, not confident, prepared to give her a chance. That said Hudson and Darcy were just brilliant after the pain of Tim Lane the week before. That was fantastic, a huge leap from the unproffessionals of the week before
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

I dread the game where we get Lloyd doing commentary (shudder)

You want to hear ghastly barracking masquerading as commentary have a listen to the NZ boys call last night's 20/20 clash. And they wonder why Aussies patronise them.....In the last 20 mins of the call I counted around 6 blatantly wrong statements meant to pump the home team's tyres.

No different to "Victoria can beat any country in the world" Lawry. I think channel 9's commentary is just as guilty as others.

As I said last year in previous threads - the girl certainly knows her stuff and can put some of the chaps to shame - but its the nasal twang that after a while drove me to drink - its almost "nannyesque"- you know a few voice lessons wouldnt go astray and I reckon she could be really good. As for Luke Darcy - oh god he is lovely - he could do a running commentary of me peeling potatoes (him standing in my kitchen of courseknow what I'm sayin????) and I would be all gooey at the knees!!!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Going against the grain here but I've got quite used to Kelli, quite happy to have her as she is and paired with with Darc on Satdy night.

I am sure she is quite happy to be paired with Mr Darcy (oh what an appropriate name!) as well.

Listening to Kelli Underwood commentate is like listening to Julia Gillard give a speech. Nothing wrong with the content (usually), but the voice is like fingernails down a blackboard!
