he looks like he is actually enjoying life and his footy - every footballer, is entitled to be happy with their lot in life despite what footy team they play for now - or played for previously. And to get best on ground was terrific. He is relishing this chance that the Dogs have given him.

Whilst I wont go as far to say that I want them to win the flag, but I hope that the Doggies do well - afterall their supporters are going through what we went through - then 2005 came for us and as they say the rest is history. If we arent' there on the last day in Sept - I hope that the Doggies are.

    God I'm going soft!!!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I'll bet there are plenty of people on here who said that when Plugger became a Swan.

he could win the dogs the flag this year, but I still think its best he's left the swans. From outside he seemed to be carrying alot of negative energy, and I think we'll get a better return from Bradshaw anyhow.

That said, I hope he does well this year.

I've been staggered by Hall's amazing turnaround in form. His timing is outstanding, kicking so truly, leaping higher, no fumbles and smiling his head off.
It is a truly remarkable story, I shall keep watching his entertaining journey thru the regular season with great interest.
What price is he for Charlie?

I agree. I hope he helps the Doggies win the GF if we aren't there. However, he probably won't be there long enough (because of his age) to implode like he did with us. After all, he's in a honeymoon period. What happems when the bride starts getting headaches?

I agree too. I think everyone - Hall included - figured he'd come to the end of the road at the Swans.

The issue for the Doggies is whether he won't end up overshadowing all the other forwards as he did at the Swans.

Good luck to the bloke, but I'm glad that now he's gone we can get on with building a forward line for the next ten years.

Spot on Rev - and to think that Plugger pretty much broke Cavens face - but once at the Swans all was forgiven. But some have very short memories.

I missed the final of teh NAB cup because I was overseas, but from all accounts it has made two things very obvious.

                  1) The Swans shot themselves in the foot for letting hall go (or forcing him to go, or however you want to see it) and at the very least they should have shut their mouths and traded him at season's end for something more like he was worth.

                  2) The Swans' style of footy was no one which was compatible with Hall. I can only imagine the way the Bulldogs run with the ball, carrying it fast from end to end, and allowing Hall to make his lead (given that he's actually very fast off the mark for his size) and take an uncontested mark. (god only knows he is bloody terrible at contested marks)

                  Good luck to him.

I have a Big Baz badge on my Swans scarf. 'Go .... BAz'. Oh no, he's now a Doggie. But I still say, 'Go BAz'. However, I may have to take him off my scarf for Swans-Doggie's games.

See, we all still love the dopey bugger. Deep down we all know he was going nowhere here, and that there was stuff happening that we couldn't fix, and neither could he. The stress of seeing the way his face was set in the last couple of years had me on edge - "someone was going to get it" .

I am so pleased to see that silly grin of his again. But did it have to be the Dogs? Yeah, well I suppose it did.

However, he is part of our history, the good part, and I just love seeing that relaxed grin again.

Just quietly, he is a world class hugger.....

According to the Melbourne papers his new fiance has a lot to do with it. Wish she had come along a few years back.

I am just dirty that since 2006 he hadnt done the same for us and now he comes out showing the same player we knew over 2004-2006.

Good luck to him, as it now happens Im not as worried as I reckon we have a pretty exciting lineup anyway.

                          My sentiments too.
I am not sure what the team would look like now had Baz stayed, but I find it hard to imagine it would look anywhere near as promising as it does now.

Though it would be interesting to have seen what the sentiment was like if we didn't rate our recruiting and new forward line so highly. I like seeing that wide smile of his, good luck to him.

Even tho Dogs had an easy win v Richmond, Hall appeared to have a dog of a day, and looked pretty frustrated.
