Would have slotted in nicely to the Swans
it was a pipe dream, even if we traded mitchell for him we wouldnt of been able to afford his wage demand after we picked up fyfe anyway

Make me a Tiger: Wantaway Sun chooses Richmond - AFL.com.au

With Prestia signedup and one less gun midfielder out of contention, the chances of a Hawks deal just increased.

Why on earth would anyone want to go to Richmond honestly why?? Unless they're offering seven figures this is a waste of a career (like Rance)

Here are just a few to start with.

          1. You can book your September vacation in February.
          2. Even if you play poorly, everyone will still blame the coach.
          3. They have the best development program for eating with chopsticks.
          4. You can be confident that you will never have the worst haircut-tattoo combo at the club, no matter what you do.
          5. You don't have to defend. Alex Rance will do it for you.
          6. There will be a 3 hour radio program dedicated to your club winning the premiership even if the club is sitting 18th on the ladder.
          7. You have the best song in the competition, but you don't have to learn the words, because you'll hardly ever get to sing it.
          8. You can say that you know Megan Gale personally.

Read in New Idea or Woman's Day while at the dentist the other week that Jesinta and Buddy's wedding has been put on hold (or is off). Admittedly don't know the date of the magazine so could have been from before Buddy proposed and marriage was not on the cards at that time. Hope that is not true as Jesinta seems to be really good for Buddy.

Was that the same issue that said Lady Di was an alien?

Possibly. The only time I read those magazines are at the Doctors/Dentists, so really don't put much faith in anything they say (much like the Herald Sun).

Seriously, they just make stuff up. If Jennifer Aniston had been pregnant as often as they claimed, she would have about 25 kids. She has none.

Hawks have just played in the last 4 GF's.... anyone going there is going for cash, not premierships.

I find it hard to believe anyone changes teams if they have no chance of a premiership. Melbourne, Saints, Crows, Cats - given his WA history and the age of their midfield, Eagles have got to be in the race.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

According to Gerard and Chins on 360 the re-signing of Hodge, Gibson and Burgoyne means Hawks are not interested in our Mitchell

They are all signing for about $3.50 and a packet of chips (cough cough) according to something I read earlier - so that the Hawks can be 'active' in the trade period......

I wouldn't be surprised if that were actually the case. By the time you get to that point of your career, I think most people would just be hanging around for the enjoyment of the game.

Yeah the AFL should give them trade restrictions for underpaying their players. Seriously there should be minimum $$$ you pay players if they are premiership players, experienced players B& F etc otherwise clubs can underpay a host of players. This is salary cap fixing
