I like what I see from the Swans of 2010. Another great effort today, and it is clear to me that we have made massive strides from last year. Our disposals are far better, our pressure is better, our ability under pressure coming out of the back is improving, and we are generally just better.
It was only the Weagles who seem to be stagnating some what, and next week will give us a better indication of where we are at, but we have the nucleus of an excellent side developing, and one that is going to trouble a lot of good sides this year. I haven't been this excited about where we are at as a team since 06 really, I like a lot of what I am seeing and I can't wait to get up to Sydney next week to see us take on Brisbane in what should be a cracking game.
Great performances from a host of players today- Jack was fantastic, O'Keefe got lots of the ball and used it well, Goodes continued his good start to the season, Braddy was fantastic up forward, McVeigh is beginning to show signs of his wonderful 2008 form, and LRT also was excellent today (His best game for quite a while).
A wholely satisfying performance, and I think we will suprise a hell of a lot of teams this year.
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."
