Personally I would luv to see the fella out there, but one more week in cotton wool for the whipper snapper to make the shoulder 100%.....

Couldn't Playfair ruck? or perhaps bring in another forward and allow Goodes to ruck around the ground but not at centre bounces. Is Currie up to it yet??

I don't think we'll see much change that that. Barlow out Hannes in, Mummy out LRT in...White will float to ruck.
Moore is injured (2-3 weeks) and McGlynn would have to be almost 100% certain to play.

Wouldn't be suprised, if old roosy puts Super Ted into the forward line while White is in the ruck. I remember super ted being a forward first year at swans, and definately a foward at the bombers.......

If White is going to be doing a lot of ruck work, perhaps bringing in Lewis Johnston for a run around the forward line could be an option?

With Mcglynn and possibly Hanners coming back in, and the Rooster holding his spot we have plenty of runners in the side

                  I AM EXCITED!
This is a massive opportunity for the team to show what they're made of.
Remember 2005? Ball goes down from Round 5, Maxfield resigns from the Captaincy and then is out from Round 6 (or 7)!
There is going to be some stormy weather and the boys are going to have to toughen up, grit their teeth and ride it out.
The kids are going to show what they're made of. I can't wait to see who puts their hand up, looks in the mirror and says "it's my turn to go" (sorry for channelling Kirky but you know what I mean).
The next few weeks are going to be a trial by fire but we will know what we have come the break and whether we are going to be contenders.
                  BRING IT ON!

I can't believe I thought that the Swans were too deep in rucks.
Great opportunity for Pyke however the appeal goes.

If White goes into the ruck then it's time for Dennis-Lane to debut.

LK and Big Al, bless you both.

I shouldn't be a faint hearted fairweather narf, should I. OK, that means maybe Curry gets a gig (shudder), or LK, or .....

                            Trial by fire it is.

I reckon Johnston has close to zero chance of playing senior footy in the near future. Not only has he been back for barely a month after more than a season's layoff, there is an article today on the Swans site that, while encouraging about his potential, makes no bones about how he needs to improve his training habits.

theres no need for wholesale changes, mcglynn, lrt and hannberry are in the best 22 so are obvious changes.

But i dont think its time for a johnson or even a currie to rush in. If mumfords appeal fails, white can support pyke. The dogs ruck division is basically just hudson at the moment and i dont think at his best he has a huge impact around the ground anyway.

The ruck is more of a concern the week after.
