Having our best forward, best backman, best two ruckman and a few others out is massive. Trying not to be to angry at this stage because we aren't talking about covering just any few players, we are covering key players and it's not easy.

I really would throw Currie in next week, he will have better general awareness than Pyke. Well worth the risk.

no sure about selection for todays match. Why would you put jessie white in the ruck with no bradshaw and leave rohan in the goal square against brian lake in his second game. jessie has done nothing in the ruck, playfair has done nothing up forward. Incorrect decision in selection

i know theres prolly some stats showing pykes hit outs are reasonable effective, but he is a complete and utter waste of space on a footy ground. Why not play currie? even if he gets smashed around like a rag doll at the ruck contest im sure he will actually get a few kicks.

Id even rather just put any old midget in at the bounce and concede the ruck taps than use pyke. Sure we wont a hit out but just chuck another midfielder there and get some stats.

While I think you're right, to be fair, take the best two rucks, the best two forwards and the best backman out of any team and I can't imagine that they will do particularly well.

id also say rohan has shown a bit, his work rate is great, hes too light to play basically as a key forward like he is today

The seconds had a bye maybe should have played them and given the 1sts the day off

Well, today we have learnt that White can't cut it in the ruck. Pyke no good either but White must go back to the forward line. Currie has to come in if Bradshaw doesnt come back next week. We are far too short in the forward line.

How is it that we miss 5 shots in front of goal from under 35 metres - totally unacceptable for professional players!

Commentary on 10 has been pathetic, I don't know how many mistakes Huddo and Underwood have made - just rubbing salt into the wound really. Positives - hmm thats a hard one - I guess Hanners has shown he can play forward at a pinch. Other than that, bugger all.

This really sucks. It is the birthday of my niece tomorrow (turning 5) and she is just starting to take an interest in football teams (and at this stage her team is the Swans, like her uncle - the rest of the family support the Bombers) so guess what her present is - a lovely new Swans guernsey!

A really hops she hasn't watched any of this game - or if she has that she just doesn't understand what is happening.
