Or still suffering for the slam tackled in the brisbane game that went unnoticed by the match review panel.

They were too good and too strong as I expected them to be. And we were murdered by the umps (limping right now after kicking our sofa after that appalling decision vs Goodes that ended in a goal to the Dogs - crucial time of the game too when we'd dominated the forst 10 mins of the 2nd qr).

I guess we're learning that our depth isn't what we thought it was. Need some big strong bodies back in there.

I think in reality the biggest problem we have now is that when we have a fit and ready to go top 22, they are probably able to match it with most sides in the league. but when we have a few key players out, than there is absolutely no depth in those positions and we struggle.
Agreed. Our biggest problem, as a team and supporters, is that we have lost players of that calibre as we move into the "month to prove we're not @@@@". We beat the teams down the botttom, but us beating them contributed to them being down the bottom...

That's what I'm thinking. He got another whallop last week too; he might be a bit more concussed than they think.

Absolutely - his opponent has murdered us the last two weeks. Desperately needs a break, as he's giving us very little atm.

Goodes there but also in midfield

We beat them in inside 50's just couldn't put it on the score board.

Had we had our proper structure of Bradshaw, White, Mcglynn, Moore, Goodes + a resting midfielder today would have been a different store.
Plus we missed 5 shots in a row in the 2nd quarter when we were very much still in the game. Because players who were playing were only there because of the injuries.

I agree. That one, that quickly led to another non free, was absolutely ridiculous.

When we didn't kick it long we had no one making space or leading up with any space on their opponents. What's wrong with forwards playing in front. On a number of occasions we had 3 up in the forward line, ball drops front or back of the pack, and they take it away with ease with their players who stay down. In the first and last quarters we ran it long and reseonably quickly into the forward line. The middle quarters it was crap little kicks to players under the pump. We did a lot wrong today in the brain department.

I wonder if the 9 day versus 6 days between games had some influence.

Just back from the game. We were never in it, even when we were in it. They looked to do it so much easier the first quarter. At the first break I thought it could have been 100 points!

As much as we need him, LRT is still as crap as ever.

Good to see Hall finally getting some free kiks though

All that wind about players taking dives at the start of the season being cited. It was a side on body contact by Goodes if anything, and Morris just threw his arms and body forward, and it was as the ball arrived.

I think now we can say for sure when he was with us, a lot of his frees against were due to the colour of the jumper. He is now the darling of everyone.

Same argument as a couple of weeks ago really, but I can think of few tougher jobs on a footy field than playing as an undersized, makeshift ruckman. Anytime that bounce doesn't go dead straight you're screwed, and at every stoppage around the ground White would have had to use all muscle whilst Hudson/Minson can rely on girth to hold position.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

that free kick against mcveigh was a disgrace, that umpire was razor ray no 18.
there is no need to panic, we have lost against quality sides.

When Jude Bolton is your hit-up forward you know you're in trouble. We had as many inside 50s as the Dogs, just not enough midfield grunt to put the ball in as cleanly, and not much to aim for up forward.

Goodes manages to get the most amazing frees paid against him.
