Rhys Shaw oh dear. Shocking miss and two terrible kick ins. A quarter to forget.

If Hawthorn had of kicked straight it would of been a blowout.

It was long ask anyway, but with a minute to go why would you kick out wide to a short player Hannebery with Buddy looming nearby. Boundary throw-in was the most likely result.

Anyone having a go at Goodes - get out of the thread! Hard to know how you can criticise him from the armchair. Jesus some of you have no idea. Yes he didnt play well, probably 20 out of 260 ish.

Well, one certainty, they won't do anything in September. Hannebery for the Rising Star.

Should have said - LRT murdered Roughhead - great game. Grundy did pretty well too. Bloody great effort from the Swans - I am as happy as I could be after a loss.

regardless it was there to win..but of course we don't know how to win close games. We are overall a 12-16th team.

Wouldnt drop goodes but shaw for all his endevours cost us the game when it was there to be won, won't crtique his disposal as he was the same at the pies.

Jesse White experiment is over time to bring inTDL..we can't have jesse do nothing for 3/4 of a game.

To quote Dwayne Russell - the Swans dive continues, 4 losses in a row now and probably out of the 8.

Goodes should sack himself. He was out played by Playfair.

Cam Heath looks to be a really good player. As did Rohan, Jetta , Smith and ODwyer.

                    Hanners was BOG.

Bolton, Kirk, OKeefe were no shows.

game reminds me of the richmond game at the MCG in 2005. down all day by as much as 40 odd points...never looked like winning to come back n lose by a point. That kick started our season. Let's hope this does.

No...time for players to be dropped when they consistently play way, way way below their best and give away stupid frees with lack of disipline and are the leaders in costing a game. He never faces any consequences for his actions. Season is over, time to start winning our next premiership and not standing for this crap. At least we got rid of Bazza.

good game - our guys really gave it a good try and plenty of effort. So pleased to see their efforts after the last few weeks. Welcome back Mummy - we missed you so much. You made such a difference. Pyke tried hard. Hannerberry gosh you are a wonder. Hope you have survived all the knocks you got today and get nominated Rookie of the Round. Great goals and great running. Playfair you have stepped up well. Thanks to all in the team - except I am wondering if Ryan O'Keefe will gain his good playing - it has gone missing. Jesse still needs to tackle, run and try leaping again - would of made a big difference - but good goals. Miss Bradshaw's wonderful work for getting Marks and Goals. Next week has to be a blinder to beat the dam bombers - let us bomb them.
                            Love those Swans

12-16th? Melodramatic much? We are a mid-placed team with the injuries we have, and we fought a very tough, close game against a similarly placed side.

Shaw had a poor game, but it was his first for the year. Ran himself into trouble a couple of times, and that miss at the end was costly (yeah, I swore at him pretty damn hard when it happened), but I wouldn't drop him.

As for White, what on earth are you on about? White had easily his best game of the year, he lead and marked well from FF, he hit packs hard, he brought the ball to ground, and he bagged 3 important goals.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Boltons form has dropped since his double concussion..maybe he was playing 2007-08 with concussion..cause he is playing the same way he was in those years.

Poor Kirky..was good up until halfway through the 3rd and then just slowed.

Forget finals and all that lets just enjoy 2010 by watching the kids develop. They so far have been impressive.
