Sorry Damien, I admit I quoted you incorrectly.

    Cheers.

Hanners, Mumford, Kennedy and Smith were arguably 4 of our best half dozen players. Well, probably not even just arguably. All fewer than 30 games. Jack (barely over 50) was probably also in the top half-dozen and White's performance was certainly more than decent. Rohan was terrific too, while Pyke (young in games, if not in years), Jetta and MOD were handy. Heath probably isn't quite ready yet but wasn't overawed and made some good contributions amongst some mistakes.

I figured that to win this game we needed lifts from the senior core of Bolton, Goodes, ROK and Kirk. Kirk did his best for a half and a bit on Mitchell, but it was probably Mitchell's ability to work into the game that finally won the game for the Hawks. I suspect this is just a reflection of his age. ROK was reasonable but nowhere near the force he can be, Bolton was practically invisible, and Goodes frustrating.

Despite the loss, I really enjoyed watching the game and don't see the point in wrist slitting. If the guys can keep playing with that intensity, I am pretty confident we will sneak into the 8 and at least get some finals experience into the young legs.

Blood pressure dropping....yeah he is frustrating. I think Rocket Eade lost most of his hair with Goodesy.

dropping goodes would be idiotic. Maybe the CHF experiment is over..goodes back in the middle - permanently.

Incredible - a coach would be sacked by the board if he did that.
No - a coach would receive a round of applause for demanding the same standards from his star players as from his first gamers.

Garbage... If we had anything resembling a full side on the paddock then your assertion might be accurate. As it is we have played some good sides without a full compliment of troops. Also someone can be so negative that their posts become tiresome and boring. (Your entitled to your negativity no question but just saying that it can become too much)

2010 is turning out to be overall surreal..the only team who are positioned to win the flag is..the cats again. Wow i thought the salary cap was brought in to stem dynasties forming, like geelong.

Are you serious or just being ironic? Who would applaud Roos dropping Goodes? I reckon 3-4% of the Swans members.

It's amazing how Goodesy polarises opinion.
People from other sides either don't rate him or believe he has been a lucky Brownlow double winner.
Even on here, he has the capacity to divide the supporters. Well, have no doubt where I stand. He had 6 or 7 shots at goal today..with his kicking boots on, he would have kicked 4 or 5.
Everryone has bad kicking days. I'm unsure of his career stat re accuracy, but I would be surprised if it reflected today's.
The man is a champion..anyone suggesting he be dropped has no serious understanding of football.

you can't handle the truth. Not many people can these days and assume its one being negative.

swans played awesome today and the boys just had bad luck. They are the bestest team all the time.

Thats cause he is so dam inconsistent. he could make one beautiful passage of play into an artform and then kick out on the full a behind or turn it over. You just don't know with goodsey..and hence many people see those errors once and base it on that.

For a browlow medallist he is far to inconsistent..love the guy but he is dam frustrating. Terrible kick at goal and always has been..when he kicked 8 against the blues it was one of those rare times he had his kicking boots on.
