Gee, damn shame to see Vespa go out. Hope it's a temporary measure.

It does suck for Vesz to be dropped after just one game in, but that's life.

Team looks pretty good for a wet track.

I still wonder if Bradshaw will play....I love the mind games

Can one of the Mods please paste the teams into the OP of this thread.

I agree. Thought Veszpermi and Bevan would be dropped for Bradshaw and Shaw. And I am a little surprised that in light of today's events in Canberra, a woman wasn't picked in the 22.

She's on the Doggies list already:

Barry had better keep kicking straight.

            Tadhg in doubt

Roos said Patrick Veszpremi and impressive first-year utility Gary Rohan were stiff to be omitted.

However, one of them may yet get a late reprieve, with some doubt emerging over Tadhg Kennelly?s fitness after he resumed from a knee injury against Port Adelaide.

?He hasn?t done much all week so there?s always some sort of doubt when a player?s only played one game [after injury],? Roos said.

Me too. He's quick, he can kick goals and he keeps improving. I'm really quite surprised by his omission.

Roos says he doesn't care if we win 1 to 0, as long as we win. So he may be picking Bevan on that basis - a slog.

I'm surprised at least one of the new boys isn't playing but Roos hints at late withdrawal so you never know. Might be Bradshaw rather than Kennelly.

Mugpies have some form coming back as well with Dumbdak and Loose Balls. Swans fielding strong side but something is still missing to me. Probably TDL.

If Kennelly is only 70-80% do not play him.

Our three most exciting players not playing. If the selected group fails this weekend there must be changes, permanent ones.

pretty surprised that beavan is still in the team, he was first out in my mind. I cant see how he adds more that rohan, especially in the wet rohan would be chasing down units left and right.

I'm not surprised that Bevan is in. He will likely be traded/delisted at the season's end, and he needs to have some games under his belt for this year to make him "attractive" if he is to be traded. I've not been impressed with him though, and with Rohan listed as an emergency, anything is possible.

                              GO BLOODS!

i think that playing people to up their trade value is a stupid theory, wouldnt we be better off developing some of our young talent, what what we get for him at best a third rounder i doubt we really value pick 50 that highly
