Sensational first half from the boys. Great pressure, tackling (Mcglynns on Franklin was sensational- than great work to take it down the other end and goal), good run. We are taking a few chances and making some clangers but we look very good back at home at the SCG.

Most guys are playing well, but Kieran Jack is having the best game of his career so far today. Lets go on and really rip Hawthorn a new one and help our percentage.

As well as we play the SCG, I think it's more a case of endevour...... First to the ball, hard at it, moving it on quickly, and being proactive rather than reactive.
Why can't they go out in this fram of mind every week?

Looked like that first Hawk goal in the 3rd came off Kennely's knee.

Are you under the impression that Roos is only the coach when we lose?

Never said that, I asked the question are we not taking risks like we did in the first half and challenging the game

We certainly are second to the ball now. I get the feeling that (due to the many losses we have had in the past couple of seasons) we are a bit fragile when the heat is put on - and as a result we play reactionary football. Our run when we are winning comes from everyone in our team, but hardness (whether we are winning or losing) only comes from a few within our team.

As a massive Carlton fan, Lane probably does want the Hawks to win so that the Blues have more chance to make the eight (his commentary about the Eski 50 was garbage - particularly as the replay showed Guerra look at the umpire before sling tackle).
