Great thing about these posts, and I'm glad you started it , is you realise how many great memories there are associated with this great club. Any one there today will remember for a long time Jettas goal and the extraordinary crowd and player reaction to it. Roos said he had to restrain the 4 interchange players from running on they were so excited.

Had tears in my eyes and I bet I wasn't the only one.

No No No, I just got a bit of hair under my contact. This is how rumours get started.

My 11-yo daughter loves Jetta. She was a bit distraught when we got to the ground earlier in the day and the Swan shop had sold out of LJ badges (tight arse Dad should have bought her one earlier in the year - "OK darling, I'll buy it for you today." Doh!). Her tension all day hoping for a goal and the release when he scored typified why I love it that my kids come to the footy with me. Corny as it seems, I reckon it was a great Daddy/Daughter moment that we shared together.

Damm, there's that hair under the contact again.

Any coincidence that Kirk, ROK and McVeigh all had top games today and that we looked a genuine threat again? These three have been off the boil recently but right back there today. Maybe we run ROK with Pavlich next week?

Be an interesting team selection this week if LRT Rohan & Smith are fit. A fit Rohan might be useful on the expanses of Subiaco.

If Sandilands is missing next week, I give us a real show against Freo.

Oh, and Pyke had another good game, turning into a gem of a find.

                  Meanwhile. What if?
                  - We had won the games against Saints in round 1, Hawks earlier in the year and Richmond?
                  - Seaby, Bradshaw and the forgotten Bolton were match fit and raring to go?

It would have been a very good year

So good to hear others got a little weepy at Jetta's goal. As someone who was in another hemisphere before 2007, I have to say it was my crowning moment in a crowd of like-minded fans. Though of course for all-time "make myself bawl anytime anywhere" moments, all I have to do is conjure Roos bellowing "here it is" and I am a blubbering mess.

We may be without Jack next week. AFL/Fox match reports stated he could be reported for a bump in the 2nd quarter.

Add me to the list he might have had a tear in their eyes at Jetta's goal.

Imagine what the other rookies in the AFL are feeling tonight. They kick their first goal and they get a couple pats on the back and a bit of cheer from the fans. This guy kicks his first and it's a 30,000 strong standing ovation while being mobbed in a Grand Final winning type celebration by his team mates. Doesn't seem fair.

I just watched the replay and it was a little difficult to discern without the right slow-mo camera angle. Let's hope all is okay.

Yeah, from the replay I saw he's in a bit of trouble.
