My power went out, which meant I lost my net connection and radio stream, so I missed even hearing about Jetta's goal! Someone YouTube it ASAP!!

Great performance today. We struggled in the 2nd half to keep up the tempo of the first half, but unlike a few other games this year we stuck to the task and worked hard to not let the Hawks right back into it. Ended up losing the 2nd half by only a couple of points, so that was a good effort.

Great to see Jetta get the goal- watch him kick on from here!!! Some fantastic performances all around the ground today. K. Jack was excellent all day, Grundy although Franklin got 4 goals did a good job and got a lot of the ball. Goodes was fantastic again, and McVeigh and O'Keefe looked much better.

Very happy with that result- a pity Freo couldn't beat North today but we have given ourselves a good shot for a home final with today's win. Freo @ Subiaco will be very tough, but they have been struggling a bit recently so who knows!

Lets hear from all those that just knew that the swans season was over after the last two weeks (even though we were pretty good last start). Get Roos out now, midfield too slow and can't win the clearances, can't kick goals, play the kids...... ra ra ra. We will knock over the dogs and lions, smash the blues back at the SCG and be in the running for a Prelim. No more negatives please, there is a lot to love about this team. By the way, K Jack will be a super player.

I was very disappointed to see Meredith go out in favour of TDL.
But not anymore. TDL had an outstanding game today. He got plenty of little touches in to make it hard for the hawks defence.
          Really enjoyed his work.

Moore has benn back in some rare form in the last 2 weeks.
And Jack just rippped them apart in the first qtr.

Good to see some of the youngsters finally standing tall.

You were right ISP. As soon as we played that style we let it slip. To our credit we finished off in the last quarter. Hawthorn were much harder at it in the 3rd quarter and on TV they the wind had got stronger and was going to their end. We did look shaky when the turnovers crept back into our game. There is no doubt when we seem to play a traditional forward line and kick it deep to tall forwards we are a far better team. I would loove to know the stats/scores we got long kicks to the square. Mind you we missed some absolute sitter set shots.

A shout to Martin Mattner for his assist to Jetta.
Without knowing how many stats he had I thought that was Mattner's best game for the season. For once he didn't turn it over big time.

How good was our ruckwork...Mummy is my hero and Pyke leaves me in awe..obviously for his adaptation to the game. Kennedy is a keeper. Love Ted's sidestepping. Loved the fact that the bigJessie finally tried crashing some packs(really miss you Plugger..I used to love seeing bodies flying a lots of different angles out of a pack that Plugger crashed, but only when he played for us)

What I liked about TDL was how he ran up the ground and then ran back to space and led his man a merry dance. I think the brains were switched on in the team today, or was it the return of the good biorythms.

Was at the races to see Love Conquers All, which won. My daughter texted me it was 70-23. So when I got to the game to see The Swans well in front half way thru 3rd quarter, it was very exciting. Then after 19 points, Jetta kicks his first goal, felt like it was (well almost) like Plugger kicking his 1300th!!
Awesome form reversal. Well done Swans for the self belief after a tough month.

                      cheers

Worked really hard I thoought. Mentioned before but his forward pressure/harassment was nice too, cut of some handballs and caused some clangers from the Hawks backline.

i would agree with that TDL was great today kicked some goals and did a few nice defensive things. He will probably never be a really high possession winner but he doesnt need 20 touched to have an impact.
I Love it. cant wait to see McGlynn TDL and Rohan causing havoc in our forward 50 offensive and defensively for years to come.

Add Jetta to that list. Apart from his goal, I loved the way he cruised between the half-forward and half-back lines, assisting the forwards and providing a link from the backline. His kicks forward were nearly always to advantage. You usually only notice him for his spectacular runs but he does a lot more useful things than you at first think.

What a difference in atmosphere to last week's game. Approximately the same crowd numbers, but it sounded double at the SCG. If only all our home games were played there.

Like many on here have already mentioned, Kieran Jack had a great game and is so exciting to watch.

Never seen anything like the standing ovation for Jetta's (2nd) goal - the one that counted.

ROK back to kicking with his left foot and played a blinder. McVeigh was much better, as was White.

When we play that fast running game as we did in the first half and when we're winning the centre clearances, we seem unstoppable.

One of the highlights was Pyke taking a mark just as he ran on the field, then his beautiful kick towards the 50.

One of the lowlights was some of the dodgy umpiring decisons.

McGlynn deserves a special mention, though very few players were down on their game today. A great team effort!

added. God we had a good draft and trade period last year. Really got it right!
