It'll be a small crowd if it's on during the day.

Got the prices, finals ticketing info, etc. from the Swans/AFL yesterday.

Once again, we, in Sydney, are paying top dollar.

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Perth and Melbourne start with standard for $43 but we start with budget (read nose bleed) for $35, thereafter our standard, prime and premium (Sydney prices second) are $43 v $45, $58 v $65!!!, $70 v $74.50. These are adult prices but they also list prices for concession, junior and family.

This seems the most likely scenario to me - the networks will be desperate to play the Melbourne finals at night with Freo & Swans to fight over the day matches, with a Sunday arvo game pretty likely because of travel.

Father's day 2003 was one of my favourites with the awesome win over Port in Adelaide - bring it on again!

I know it's only an extra $4.50 ... but why should we be slugged it?

Melbourne and Perth prices are the same.

Doesnt fitzpatricks company own the ground - maybe a little side deal he has to top up the salary? - extra 4.50 per seat is a nice little bonus even when only 20,000 turn up

Wouldn't fathers day INCREASE the attendance??? It's Fathers Day and FATHER WANTS TO GO TO THE FOOTY!!!

                              This makes sense to me.

Theorectically yes - in reality no - Fathers get guilted into having to spend the day with their family who in many instances dont like the footy. Having said that I dont care what day it is, im going. I actually like an afternoon game at ANZ , its not so cold and miserable as a night game can get and last time i went to an afternoon game at ANZ we gave brisbane an almighty flogging.
