I am not expecting great things from Bradshaw .I will be happy if he gets through unscathed in the reserves and can front up for the first Final.I wanna see him in front of our goals in the last 5 minutes! Gotta feeling that he could just swing the game for us in a tight situation.Don't care if they rest him for most of the game just get him out there when the game is up for grabs.

We've developed a winning team without him, so I'd be careful about rushing him back into the team and expecting miracles.

Bring him back when he's ready, and be prepared to drag him if he's not producing.

If I have time I might have to wander down to Manuka and watch the reserves. I know its difficult to think he could have an impact, but a player or his obvious class and experience would be wonderful to have, especially if we could get through to a 2nd week final.

Bradshaw would have better to go North, not freeze em off in Canberra. Rotated off the pine in the sun, getting a few touches, taking a few marks. Isn't this game (v. Lions) turning into a training run now?

There is very little to go on as to whether he makes it or not.

              I'm just hoping he does.

The reserves match is basically an extended fitness test. As Roos said, he'll either get through it or not.

Just got back from Manuka. Bradshaw basically benched for the whole 2nd half with an icepack on his right knee. I doubt he'll be up next week.

That's a shame. He was only going to play a half though apparently so hopefully just precaution. Did he limp off or anything?

My young bloke and I went up to the dugout at 3 quarter time, he just said "it was a bit sore" I didn't want to ask anything else, but he gracefully signed my son's jumper (great bloke I should add). I was just watching him with the training staff when he came off and he was bending and pointing at the knee. The trouble is I thought it was the hammy that was the test. It could just be precautionary icing.... and if he was only going to play a half that could be it. Fingers crossed

How did he look in the first half?

                              Swans Facebook is more positive
Daniel Bradshaw got through today's reserves match in Canberra. Kicked a goal, took six marks and had eight kicks. Played nearly three quarters, so good news for Braddy. Unfortunately ressies lost but they were short of Swans listed players with Rohan, Reid in seniors.

I just read the facebook post. That seems promising. Hopefully it was enough to get him back next week.
