I dare say the mind games have begun, you have to remember what Bradshaw did to Carlton in the elimination final last year.

My mail says he won't play but we'll wait and see come Thursday. Personally I'd like to see him selected as he adds so much to the forward line, especially when white isn't firing.

A new article from The Age is a bit more optomistic
But Bradshaw reported yesterday the knee had pulled up well after the game. He will now consult with the club's medical team early this week to determine whether to continue to push towards breaking into the senior team.
Mumford aims for D-Day return to help Swans knock out Carlton
Obviously not a certainty by any stretch, but he's a chance.

          Interesting. I'm reading is gone, he's OK, he's sore. I guess we'll find out @ 2:40 Sunday.

This is strange stuff. I can only think the original article where he was quoted was straight after the game where the knee was sore, but it obviously pulled up ok overnight into yesterday. I still think he wont play, but if he does he would be more than handy. The elimination final last year between lions and carlton I remember braddy pretty much dragged bris over the line in that last qtr, they came from around 5 goals down I think. Thats the sort of player he is and he's got plenty of finals experience.

Impossible to know what to believe. The club will know if he's capable of having an influence or not.

I'm sure that I heard Roos says somewhere (might have been the guys on MMM even) that he played the time the Club wanted him to play and he was taken off. Iced up and they would see how he pulls up over the next few days. Smoke and mirrors at finals is great.

I think it was ugg who pointed out that the Blues still have psychological scars from Bradshaw's last finals game vs them - I think the mind games probably relate to that.

To be honest I would rather he didn't play. The side is in great form and the forward line is functioning just fine. I don't see why we should risk that to play a bloke who clearly isn't 100%.

Really? There were times on Saturday when I didn't know where the next goal was going to come from. We needed to really be inventive to find a few - a big experienced key forward just adds so much to any finals team - ask the Dogs!

With the ressies winning their minor premiership, does that mean they don't play this weekend (with a final 5)?

If so, that is a bit of a shame. Assuming his season isn't already over, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get him to play another reserves game and then bring him in IF we get to a SF. If he struggled to get through just over an hour against Belconnen, I'd be wary about bringing him into a cut-throat final against the Blues.

We are getting a good spread of goal kickers at the moment. You may of felt like we were struggling for avenues to goal but we still ended up kicking a good score didn't we.

Bradshaw hasn't played since the ice age and wouldn't be anywhere near 100%. Why not avoid the risk of playing him and continue to back the structure which has worked so well for us over the last 2 weeks.

Did you see the Fremantle game? We dominated periods of that game and only fell in.

A key forward can make such a difference in a final but if he's going to break down after 10 minutes then yeah, definitely don't play him.

It's a final four and yes the reserves are playing on Saturday against Ainslie (with the winner through to the GF). Whether he's eligible to play or not is another matter given that he's only played the one game in the regular season. One person I've spoken too assures me that he is eligible, but I guess we'll wait and see.
