If Bradshaw is fit he should play straight away I reckon..no point in holding him back; we may not be there for him to play the next week if we don't use him when he's available. I agree on McGlynn, but it was a bit more than a head knock..fracture of the cheekbone, I think.

Can't see how Bevan could be taken out after his last few weeks, and specially his efforts last week.

Three fractures and a plate has been fitted, I think. Ouch.

If I read one more mention of TDL as an option to be dropped in this thread I'll ...I'll ... go to Big Footy!!

Braddy has to play if he is fit and Roos thinks he can give us say 90-100 minutes on Saturday. He is a class act, cool under pressure and adds a very very good option to our forward line. It certainly gives the Dogs another thing to think about- not only having to worry about JW up top but Braddy as well, and that's before thinking about an in form TDL. If he is fit enough, he will play. Who drops out I don't know.

100% agree- how anyone could even think about wanting to drop TDL is beyond me. He already looks a class act, and I think over the next twelve months will get to a position where he is one of the first names on the team sheet every week.

You and me both Cruiser! I'd be stunned if they were even contemplating dropping him.
If both Braddy and Benny are able, i think we have to play them this week. If we beat the doggies, it would be brilliant to have these two in against the Saints.
I love RyanO, watching that duck arse running around the park has brought a smile to my face for years now, but this is finals and he's injured, so IMO, RyanO has to be rested.
The other one I'd omit is Jetta. I think he's great and he does bring an X factor to the team, but I'm a better defender than he is and I think of all the possible omissions, Jets is the one that I reckon we could most do without.

Been sitting on the fence for this all week. Must decide.... Criteria is not ranking the best 22 players, but taking all available players and forming the best 22 man unit. Selection impact on team belief is more important that the skills brought into the side or matchups. And since we have belief this is a 3 week plan.

ROK to take one for the team and rule himself out. It doesn't sound like his injury is going to get better with rest, so this would be end of season. A little extra "do it for ROK" to add to the Roos and Kirk factor and counter Johnno.

                Bradshaw in

If McGlynn is not going to be any more ready next week than this then he's in this week too and Jetta gets a rest.

Bradshaw is the X-factor this week, Jetta to return fresh for the PF if we get through in place of Moore.

Then "no change" for the GF.

We've never played with all of McGlynn, Moore and Smith together from memory.

While I am in awe of people with a decent memory, if I can look up the Stats on RWO then you can too, Lucky Knickers Round 15 looks like we had them all - stopped checking after that.

The more I think about it, the more obvious the changes needed become:-

                      Ins: Bradshaw, McGlynn
                      Outs: O'Keefe, Moore

Simply put, Bradshaw coming back from injury with limited playing time > injured O'Keefe and McGlynn > Moore.

We need to take our chances now as there may be no tomorow. And this is the forwardline that gives us the best chance of advancing to the Prelim:-

                      TDL Bradshaw Shaw/ Bevan
                      McGlynn White Jetta
                      Sanford Wheeler 4 President!

Cheers Jesse. Thank you for looking that up. I cannot look up stats.
The next week against Blues all 3 started but Smith went out with the hammy.
Do we need all 3 if we lose ROK?

that he did but he was a shadow of himself around the ground, and had at least a couple of tackles broken very easily

Whoever misses out, be it rested or dropped will be desperately unlucky. I just hope we go in fully fit. Please win Swans PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

We have been saying this about ROK for about 10 weeks. He's not right but he keeps making it through and will continue to do so. Surely its out of Jesse, Moore and Jetta. Jetta for Benny, Jesse gone if Roosy trusts Bradders, if not Moore's gone.
