I'm for Bradshaw playing, because we do need someone to take contested marks 50 - 70 metres out. In finals the pressure and everything is heightened and a lot of kicks are long to a contest. Relying on White and Goodes to take those marks may not be enough, Bradshaw on one leg is probably better and those marks may make the difference betweeen a win and a loss, notwithstanding how many goals he actually kicks
Braddy and McGlynn are back v Dogs!! - (TEAM NAMED)

I agree! The team that beat Carlton will beat the dogs. At Finals I go conservative, experiments are over, doubtful fitness in a player could lose you the game. You gotta go with the fit reliable players and if the team gels and plays as one you keep that team on the field. Playing as one is SO HARD to achieve. Bradshaw is a Champion who would walk into any side if fit. The "if Fit" thing is the worry .McGlynn if fit is in out best 22 for sure but is he ready to come back into the hard physical stuff when his face was rearranged 4 weeks ago? Is it worth risking when I feel the team that beat Carlton will beat the dogs. RWO's have had enormous trouble naming who should be dropped because no one should be dropped! Give the injured guys one more week i say..bring them back against the Saints?Comment

Bottom line is that we have to improve to advance any further. Bradshaw and McGlynn improve us, so I'm prepared to back the club's thinking that they're both right to go.Bloods

That's it in one, the game we played last Sunday wasn't good enough to beat any of the top four sides. Changes are required.Comment

i think moore is an obvious one to go out, he is out of form at the moment. Somewhat similar to jude and ryan it has taken our players a long time to get back into form after a bad concussion.
Moore is the first to go if either mcglnn of bradshaw come back in.
White - may be dropped depending on how they want to structure the forward line. if they think goodes can play good minutes forward and bradshaw can hold up he might be the victim.
If they want 2 talls forward plus goodes to stretch the dogs defence without morris then they will have to look at a smaller player
jetta - has been solid for and adds great pace to our midfield, doesnt get it much but when he does the ball goes 70m and has become a dangerous goal kicking mid could have had 3 last week if players were a little less selfish and looked inboard (looking at you macca)
O'Keefe - if he thinks he can play injured they wont drop him, after rooseys comments i would expect him to play in the midfield this week
Bevan - perennial whipping boy kicked 3 last week i would be surprised if he was dropped as he's in solid form
TDL - no way he will be dropped. ATM he is by far our most dangerous forward and takes his opportunities
Smith - is our best lockdown small defender who is clearly in our best 22. wont be dropped
I hate to say it and i would hate to see it but i think the second to go will be jetta. Very very unlucky but i forsee many a final in his futureComment

What time do they name the bloody teams???
This is worse that waiting to see if Blind Barry gets off a charge!Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

Does that mean MOD is retained as an emergency? Seems strange in that I would have thought he was "third emergency" last week. But maybe they figure that if they do need to call upon someone, his age, build and fitness is a better fit to a final than the rawness of Reid or Rohan. And presumably they didn't get a game last week so the club would prefer they play in case they are needed sometime this month.Comment
