Yep agree with Mel, LRT will need to get through a game in the 2's before being considered for selection. Meredith's only way back in now is if we suffer a spate of injuries, fingers crossed we wont need him

If they're both fit then I think we should roll the dice with the omissions to come from Moore, Bevan and White

Ideally it would be good to give Braddy another game in the 2's with the hope of bringing him in for the preliminary final, and that may still happen yet

Bevan can't be dropped, I just watched a replay of the game and by god he was amazing. Moore for McGlynn seems logic but don't know who makes way for Braddy

yep would sure hate to be on the selection committee this week.

I would think McGlynn for Moore is relatively straight forward but Braddy is a real head scratcher

Give you a hint - five letters and starts with "W"...

Yep. Consensus is that if Bradders is not fit enought then he does not play. If he is fit enough then... he is fit enough and that means he plays full forward. If he is playing full forward we get rid of the CHF or FF. TDL is going nowhere and Jesse has had his chance. If our forward line plays like it did last week we lose against the dogs. Bradshaw must play.

How about Bradshaw for Moore, then just swap McGlynn for the (un)lucky kid who usually runs on with the boys at the start of the game.... no one will notice!

I think bringing back a potentially unfit defender is a MUCH riskier decision than a Forward.

White cannot be dropped, he's an important part of our forward line. Apparently Moore is as well but White does what the team needs him to do ( granted not what we on here would really love him to do...kick some bags) while being capable of producing ( not saying he does very often but he is still capable of doing so) a match winning grab, or crashing a pack of 5 of six players to create spills for our smalls. Moore may be as important as a lot on here beleive him to be but but I'd rather have White in than Moore at this point in time.

Selection is really difficult this week.

Everyone contributed something last week. There were so many individual efforts (even from players that didn't have the biggest of stats - Moore, White, etc) that saved, or won us the game against the Blues. It would be a hard call dropping anyone, particularly when those to come in may not be 100%.

If Bradshaw and McGlynn do come in, it's obvious who misses out...

Two very unlucky players. Everyone played a part in the win against Carlton and anyone would be stiff to be dropped.

The unlucky ones could come from Bevan, Moore, White, ROK, Jetta, possibly even someone like Smith - or unthinkably TDL.
Everyone else you would assume is safe.

If ROK says he's right to play, he will play.
Trying to read the match committee's thoughts, I'd say Smith is the next safest name on the above list.
Everyone on this board would agree TDL well and truly earned a spot next week, but the match committee may decide to structure the forward line differently with Braddy in - TDL would be VERY unlucky.
Which brings us down to Bevan, Moore, Jetta and White. White being a tall should get him over the line.

Down to 3. Who are they most likely to pick out of Moore, Jetta and Bevan?
Moore would probably be my guess, but Jetta provides a bit of X-factor with his pace. Bevan's become a handy utility who can competently fill a gap up forward or down back, but with extra players to choose from, Bevan's 'gap' might not exist - he's the first one squeezed out unfortunately.

Given the choice between Moore and Jetta, I'd probably lean towards Jetta due to his X-factor, but I'd think the selectors would probably prefer the harder body of Moore.
Unless of course they decide one or both of Braddy and McGlynn is too big a risk.
A tough choice, and I'm glad I don't have to make it.

Better to be picking fron riches than from a depleted list as we did earlier this season. I guess this is why the coaches get the big bucks.
A FIT Bradders must play, and he did look good at training Tuesday, and has 2 reserves games under his belt. What more does a (however many premierships he's got under his belt) player have to do?
O'Keefe scares me..unfit players in finals has forever been a no go. His contribution last week...yeah yeah granted it was a vital goal ,but he couldn't run, couldn't turn , couldn't make tackles stick and wasn't game to have a 45m shot in Q1 that he normally would have had for breakfast. Every finals series, you hear some coach bemoaning that he took so and so into the game unfit. It would be really tough on Pebs, but team first!
And much as I would love to see McGlynn run out, surely it is too soon.
Rohan is in the wings waiting and I don't see him letting us down. Meredith should be fit again. Even Jetta is not guaranteed.
Nathan Gibbs always has a big say in who is fit to play, but rarely more significantly than this semi final week.

I wouldn't play Bradshaw this week there's no point wait to see if we play the Saints next week then play him against them, Mcglynn on the other hand if he's ready should come straight in he still should be match fit it was a head knock maybe at the expense of Moore or Bevan......... though likey result is an unchanged team.
