We saw how well our forward setup worked earlier in the season with Braddy marking in the F50 and Jesse creating spills mopped up by the smalls - and TDL now makes our smalls that much more dangerous.
Exactly. It's not as if they'd be running off a young bloke who can't play.

Your assuming a turnover.I have seen Lake go all the way and kick goals . I am assuming the Dogs will be red hot and nothing demoralises you as much as a Fullback kicking goals. I am sure he will run off him .your saying let him go and have Bradshaw stay on his own in the goal square for when the turnover comes. I am saying have White run with him and have Bradshaw pick up White's defender. We should not under any circumstances let Lake go up the field unattended and untagged. He could ruin our day!

I agree that you don't want too many underdone blokes but given he's played two reserves games, I think it's time to roll the dice on him.
So you don't want Malceski at Full forward?? There's a radical move that Rodney Eade would not expect! Yeah..no argument from me that Braddy and McGlynne are in our best 22 when fit,the issue is "When fit" and that means match fit for a Final. Anybody wanna join the Macca for FF for Finals wagon???

Bradshaw is a necessary risk in my mind.... when he is firing he can kick 5-10 goals, when he isn't he still will kick 1 or 2, if he thinks he can play 100min then put him in the side! McGlynn is a certain starter as long as the docs give him the OK, should probably wear some head gear though

Having broken my jaw in a match I am in awe of someone who can come back in and play with confidence 4 weeks later. It is still sore and hurts with the slightest touch many weeks later.Obviously pain killers will be needed but it tends to make you favour the side that doesn't hurt. It makes you reluctant to throw the face anywhere it could get hurt.As I said,if he plays after busting up his face so badly ,I am in total awe of his courage!

So if the game is a tie, the result is decided by trivia questions rather than extra time?

There was an article somewhere saying he broke his jaw playing for Box Hill and had a few plates and screws put in it. He was training a few days later, missed one game and then came back into the team. 6 weeks later he refractured it and cracked the other side as well. Love this kid!!!

I'm not saying Moore should be selected i'm saying why I think he will be selected. And Bevo you either love him or hate him.

Or play ROK and we could have a bake-off? (Rock cake maybe?)

The Third of Forth Possible Change for this weekend...

Ok assuming that McGlynn and Bradshaw get a game this weekend, what about the other 2 possible solid performers..

Meredith and LRT could be handy with fresh legs or fit?

Then in turn who to drop .. I have a theory, however match ups and fresh legs could / should come into decision making IMO. I said IMO...

It is nice to have some depth for the finals

Give it a red hot go you Swans

Rod_ (not able to go this weekend - however my daughter and son in law are ..)

Would be great to have LRT back, someone mentioned on another thread he may play in the reserves this week. The defence has done a great job without him over last few weeks but would be a real bonus if fit.

On Meredith, I really liked his last couple of games and look forward to seeing him next year but don't know if he will push his way back into a winning side especially as it is less injury depleted than when he left.

No sense no feeling I guess. Glad he is playing for us. Must be descended from the Black Knight.

Yep, at the members pre-match function, LRT mentioned that he was hoping he'd be playing in the ressies this week. I have been amazed at how our defense has held up without him and CBolt down there. Let's see how he goes in the ressies this week for fitness first.
