Your assuming a turnover.I have seen Lake go all the way and kick goals . I am assuming the Dogs will be red hot and nothing demoralises you as much as a Fullback kicking goals. I am sure he will run off him .your saying let him go and have Bradshaw stay on his own in the goal square for when the turnover comes. I am saying have White run with him and have Bradshaw pick up White's defender. We should not under any circumstances let Lake go up the field unattended and untagged. He could ruin our day!Comment

Modra did his ACL in the PF and Ellen had already been in the side for most of the seond half of the season, it's a little bit different!
I agree that you don't want too many underdone blokes but given he's played two reserves games, I think it's time to roll the dice on him.Comment

Bradshaw is a necessary risk in my mind.... when he is firing he can kick 5-10 goals, when he isn't he still will kick 1 or 2, if he thinks he can play 100min then put him in the side! McGlynn is a certain starter as long as the docs give him the OK, should probably wear some head gear thoughComment

There was an article somewhere saying he broke his jaw playing for Box Hill and had a few plates and screws put in it. He was training a few days later, missed one game and then came back into the team. 6 weeks later he refractured it and cracked the other side as well. Love this kid!!!Last edited by Nich; 8 September 2010, 02:14 PM.

The Third of Forth Possible Change for this weekend...
Ok assuming that McGlynn and Bradshaw get a game this weekend, what about the other 2 possible solid performers..
Meredith and LRT could be handy with fresh legs or fit?
Then in turn who to drop .. I have a theory, however match ups and fresh legs could / should come into decision making IMO. I said IMO...
It is nice to have some depth for the finals
Give it a red hot go you Swans

Would be great to have LRT back, someone mentioned on another thread he may play in the reserves this week. The defence has done a great job without him over last few weeks but would be a real bonus if fit.
On Meredith, I really liked his last couple of games and look forward to seeing him next year but don't know if he will push his way back into a winning side especially as it is less injury depleted than when he left.Comment

Yep, at the members pre-match function, LRT mentioned that he was hoping he'd be playing in the ressies this week. I have been amazed at how our defense has held up without him and CBolt down there. Let's see how he goes in the ressies this week for fitness first.Life's not a spectator sportComment
