Thankyou Scott for helping fill in these lonely days till footy returns ...

Adam Goodes is a truly gifted footballer and we sometimes mark him harshly when he is such a key to the Swans.
He was played out of position for so many games this year.
More time on / around the ball in 2011 and another Brownlow !

A big thanks from me Scott - I love the TLM.
Well done to Goodesy, even though he appeared to have an up and down year he polled very consistently. I suppose that just goes to show he is a real champion when even his down games are still very good.

Great work Scott - warmly appreciated.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Well I am certainly surprised at the result. I had Kieran Jack =3rd after Round 16, having had the advantage of watching him in the Reserves for a few years, and 12 other players ahead of Goodes at the end, with Jude the winner (which surprised me - not a particular fan) with Jack and Chitchat =2nd (Also surprised me). But probably would have had Goodes as a close 4th or 5th in several games plus missed entering a few rounds when my computer had crashed and I lost my records. (Only explanation I can come up with...)

Next year I'll just vote for my favourite players and save all those hours pouring over 3 different sets of stats each week and watching each game twice. .

Hope Goodesy (whom I am fond of) isn't too embarrassed.

Thanks Scott for all your hard work. It has been exciting and interesting and I've learnt heaps doing it.

Yeah, it is a little hard to accept that Goodes has won it again. I think we all got caught up in the excitement of the new (and newish in Jack) talent coming through that we wanted to see that repaid in our award.
The problem may have been that we all had different favourites in this new talent which spread the votes a little thin.
From memory, I think I gave a lot of votes to Mummy, Jack, Hanners, Smith and B1 but not much for Kennedy until later in the season.

When you look through our list Goodsy is our only Bona fide Superstar ATM so its probably understandable that he keeps winning. Hopefully a few of the young guns keep improving and put lots of pressure on him for next years medal.
Whether you like him or not it will be a sad day when he no longer is the man to beat for the TLM.

Scott, not sure if it's doable, but I know that I voted in all bar one game (according to you, could have sworn I didn't miss any...lol) and I'd imagine a lot of us regs would have voted in a similar number.

Is there a way of easily calculating and posting the individual final tally's of RWO'ers? I'm surprised at Goodes winning, but would be interested to know with the odd 1 or 2 votes I gave him along with his few obvious BFS's (best for Swans), did I actually have him on top or not.

                Just a thought.

Yeah, every year I regret not recording my votes.
It is probably a lot to ask but I would love to see my votes. You don't need to tally them, we can do that.
I also don't mind my votes being public if it is easier.

Thanks for the appreciation. It is quite fun watching the results unfold.
But it's not over for me, I know have to put it all together in a presentation, to give to Adam, and I normally do it tomorrow, every day.

As for the individual yearly tallies, it is doable, I actually did it for myself, and I am happy to post your own for those that are interested.
The data is on my work laptop, which is safely locked away at work, so it will have to wait till next week.
