I generally can only get to 5-6 games a year, but last year the Collingwood game was one. I had the most obnoxious drunk Collingwood supporter behind me.
OK it was just your average Collingwood supporter but that's pretty bad (strange as it seems I also had one sitting beside me who I had a good chat with who was a nice bloke and was hating the one behind us as much as me).
Anyway that was probably the hardest two and a half hours of being a swans supporter I have experienced. I stayed the whole game under duress as I have never left a game early and never will. I decided on the way out the gate that I was going to make sure I made every Collingwood game in Sydney until we beat them.
Given their form at the end of the year that could be a few years but there is no way I am missing it, and if there is more pain in the interim it will just make it better when it happens.
