They've been doing that ever since the introduction of sleeveless guernseys.

One thing I like about Dane Swan is that as a commited peace activist he shows his opposition to the right to bare arms.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

It should actually make him quicker! Convert the muscle into powerful 'motors' and the chassis will move faster! As the chassis isn't that big it should move it very fast

a different time, different place ?> I seem to remember Stuey Maxfield lost some muscle bulk one preseason as he believed he had lost some of his pace by being too "big", I think he had a blinder that following year.

Given the literary tone of this thread, are we talking here about the Jacobean dramatist, the Collingwood hack, or the disgraced Canadian sprinter?

Don't worry about the first option until Ted's columns are being ghosted by a Jim Boswell. And the third when Ben Cousins picks up some of Ricky Nixon's track scarred clients.

Well that is the basic premise. The difference here of course is they are sprinters so there is a fine balancing act to be struck. Having 'usable' bulk doesn't slow you down...but it can make you tire more quickly, which is what possibly happened to Stuey. Nevertheless, if the guys are feeling strong, still able to run as far, for as long, but do so more quickly then we have all achieved our aim at the club. When the dietitian, other conditioning staff, skills coaches et al all get the guys to their optimum all that is left is the tactics and the heart to play hard/well. Those two are down to the head coach and the individuals respectively.
