    Q. Why is it so hard to solve a murder in the Collingwood Cheer Squad

    A. Because they all have the same DNA and no dental records.

Big Al - I saw this on the website.

          Fan Initiation Marquee

Are you bringing someone new to the match this week? If so, bring them along to the Fan Initiation Marquee on Driver Ave to receive their complimentary ?S? plates. This is their one stop guide to all things AFL and will provide a basic overview of the game including rules, learning the lingo and players to watch..

Not sure if there will be the same thing at the Collingwood game but I'm sure the club will let us know.

I was brought up in Nth Fitzroy...just near Queens Parade which was the border between Fitzroy and Collingwood. The Roys then played at Brunswick st oval, 100 yards from my home amd Victoria Park was only a mile away.
EVERY kid in the area barracked for one or the other team, and the games between the two were always ferocious encounters.
But even then,50 or 60 years go there was an anti Collingwood attitude by everyone in the competition.
It's fantastic to see that nothing has changed (except for the poor old Roys, of course)

                Thanks for the tip Kirkari...

My guests got their S plates and seemed to enjoy the game. His young son started a Swans chant in the 3rd qtr so I think we may have another supporter in our midst.

                  Hi Everyone,

This is a brilliant thread - if nothing else, it shows how passionate everyone is about the team and about the match day experience.

Random Yank - I'd love to organise something for you and your family as a welcome from the Swans. I'll send you a message!

Big Al - Brilliant to hear you collected your 'S Plates' on the weekend. We will have our Fan Initiation Marquee at ANZ Stadium as well. Once we've had the location confirmed, I'll let you all know.

Round 14 is shaping up to be a big match, both on and off the field. We've got a few things planned, so keep an eye on the eNews and on the website for more information!

As always, if there is anything I can help you with, please let me know.
Looking forward to seeing some of you at the Trivia Night tonight!

                  Jenny

                    Hi Jenny

Do you know of a way to purchase specific seats through Ticketek on line?
I know you can request seats if you call through but it can take a lot of time and costs a fair amount extra

If you want specific seats Untamed, you have to ring Ticketek and quote the seats you specifically want. You don't get the choice when ordering online - you get the "best available".
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

RY ... a few of us meet up an an unspecified bar area before the game (I think it's aisle 120??? - please confirm someone), or we go to the pre-match function (if there is one). You're more than welcome to come and say g'day in person. If Jenny can't help you with pre-match passes, I'll be glad to get you in on one of my memberships.

I was hoping to avoid the queue and surcharge, I have a friend who won't make enough games to justify membership

What do have when you have 100 Collingwood supporters buried up to their necks in sand?

                                A: Not enough sand.
