I'm hoping we score more than 28 by 3 quarter time.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Absolutely beautiful weather today in Sydney, if a little cold. It's going to be chilly out at Homebush tonight.

Our odds have lengthened on a win. The punters must not have liked the changes to the team. White, Everitt and Bevan should be insulted!

          MATCH
          Sydney - $5.50
          Collingwood - $1.15

They talk about contested possession so much but i really believe uncontested stats can tell a good story as well. The top 4 teams ladder wise rank in the top 5 teams. Sydney are last of the 17. Goes hand in hand with the low disposals as well. The Hawks who lead uncontested stats did that again last night when they pumped the Bombers. I know sometimes uncontested stats can mean that teams have kicked the ball around the backline to each other a bit but i don't believe that is true for the top teams. Hawks kicked with that much precision last night it wasn't funny. Their skills by foot are dynamite, much like Carlton/Pies/Geelong. Players rarely have to enter a contest because they are out in front, in space, marking the ball much easier. Our players always seem to be in a contest and when that results in a ball to ground we get burnt on the turnover. We really need to hold the ball tonight and the players need to work much harder in presenting -at ALL areas on the ground. If you don't have the ball - you can't win. Especially against a top 4. Patience with the ball - absolute hunger when we don't have it. C'mon boys!!!!!

Give me "Cheer Squads" approach any day! If the supporters present tonight don't fire up, we're p*ss weak. It's still a game of footy with 18 players on the field. We live in hope.

Spot on. Probably the most concise summation I've seen of why we repeatedly fail against Collingwood.

Since we travelled from Hawaii and our son from Qatar (where the heck is that?), we are quite expecting a Swans victory. Expect the unexpected, plus we don't suffer from excess detailed knowledge which might temper our enthusiasm!

If nothing else I can get hoarse yelling my brains out.

                    You're an inspiration RY!

Oddly enough, I'm quite looking forward to tonight's game.

Our odds just keep on lengthening:

I guess all the RWOers who tipped the Pies were really sweating when the Swans went ahead in the last Q? Good thing good old Collingwood forever came through for you.

Would think a victory would have allayed any pain of the financial kind.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

No. If I had so little faith that the Swans might win that I tipped against them I would find something better to do with my Saturday night. There was a while tonight when I thought my faith was justified. FWIW I've never tipped against the Swans and I've done pretty well in tipping comps over the years.

How about that - not one single person who voted in this weeks poll got it right.

I happy about that. I was one who tipped a flogging.
Although I did back them in my tips!!
