This argument is about why, when the TDL disciples mention the Carlton final, those who are backing the current match committee cannot mention the Bulldogs final?

I'm sure he will get back in and I hope it's soon, I really do, but at this stage I'm happy to back the club in. I just reckon they know what he is capable of offensively, but want to make sure he bloody well knows the pathetic defensive effort he delivered in the Bulldogs final last year will never be acceptable.
You totally missed the point, I wasn't knocking Braddy's effort at all, I was saying the game plan in its over concentration on Braddy that made it predictable. I don't give a stuff about Carlton final/Bullies final but people keep dragging them up I was not the first one to do so. So, Tripple B, you would back the selection committee no matter what? They do make mistakes you know! TDL in my humble opinion is a better option than Everritt any day. If Everritt, who was a high draft pick for the Bullies, is to ever fulfil his potential he needs to go to a good Sports Psychologist. I would presume we retain one as do most AFL clubs. Today on this forum someone made the comment he was a confidence player, I made the same assumption of Teddy. Confidence players sometimes need to visualise it so it happens, they also benefit from a stint at a lower level where they are winners all the time & return better; ie Teddy.

Whilst I agree it was not a great game for him - lets not forget it was his 8th game of senior football. I thought his return for his 8 games last year well and truely paid dividends. Im sure that game stayed with him all pre season - and was probably a motivator as to why he was the only player on the list not to miss a pre season session.

If you are talking Teddy he has been inspirational since his comeback. All I have to say now is GO THE SWANNIES! May the best team win! OURS!!

Was referring to TDL mate, but Teddy has been a beauty and your observation a good one. Teddy was getting whipped last year - but has responded in the finest fashion. Swans by 35.

So as I normally take a Coopers or 5 during a game, however as we are playing Adelaide is this still acceptable?

Or should I be looking to pick up another brew?

What i'd love to see ( apart from a 15 goal win of course) would be for Reid, White, or both, kick a nice big bag of 5 or 6 goals. That would be nice...

Which Coopers? If it's green then I'd suggest switching to James Squier IPA for this game, not too far off on the tastebuds and Camperdown's a tad closer to Moore Park.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

A Coopers Red would be acceptable - preferably in a white stubby holder

It sure would, if it wasn't a Coopers Red!

Might splash out for the Little Creatures Pale.

Stay tuned to the matchday thread for the exciting conclusion...

10 - 20 mm rain predicted by the weather forecast. I worry when they play in the wet.

I don't see why not Carlton Light is a sponsor the Crows not Coopers. Toyota major & Also Carlton as Major. No coopers!

Light drizzle in the City of Churches has now turned into persistent rain. Not overly heavy but has a "set in" look about it.

And my left shoe is leaking...

Quite possibly my single most hated moment is when wearing a pair of shoes on the first rainy day in a while and realising "oh, I didn't know these had a hole in them somewhere" (yes Al, apart from the top ).
