Think we're gonna need some real goal kicking power when we play the throttling Saints - would be nice to have TDL up and firing by then.

Thanks Liz for the referral to John Longmires interview, his comments about TDL have raised my hopes for his inclusion in the team, heres hoping he does not get injured and gets him game time up. However I would play him on one leg... just me but he is classy and a goal kicker.Comment

By the time I got there the latest interview was the was the side selection interview. So maybe be a bit more specific, I did go back later on when I had time to listen to all the interviews and it was in the 'business end' interview. Thanks Liz but if people had listened to the 'side selection' interview which was the last at the time they would not have heard anything of interest.Comment

Dennis-Lane is a player Longmire sees as possibly in his best side heading towards the finals.
The 22-year-old forward has had a frustrating season with injury, playing just twice in the senior side.
"He's missed a bit of footy the last month, he's just had an unlucky run this year," Longmire said.
"Three or four times we've had him selected in the team and he hasn't been able to get through the last training session.
"So we're hoping to get some game-time into him this week as well.
"He's a player we'd like to have back in our team; his goalkicking sense is really important for us."

So at this stage it's about getting him game time.He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

Just been given two tickets to the game (my work is a major sponsor of Essendon) and it is right in the middle of the Essendon ferals. My daughter and I will wear our Swans member caps in the middle of a sea of red and black. This will be a life experience for a 15yo - I just hope she isnt psychologically scarred for lifeComment

Geex Essendon supporters must have changed, I sat in the middle of them in the 96 prelim and they were pretty tame, unlike me, lol. I did have a front tooth missing at the time hehe, must have made me look angry or mean or somethingYou can't argue with a sick mind - Joe WalshComment

I think TDL and Rohan will push for the last few games and Nick Mal and or Kennelly must be under the gun at the moment
Put it this way unless we bring in a couple of x factors we will walk out of the finals after one game...........
PS - how massive is the game tonight BTW...................MASSIVE !!!!!.........pressure pressure pressure !!!"be tough, only when it gets tough"
