Yep - kind of like Johnson being indecisive when he made the major run and the kick ended up being turned over for a Bombers goal.

Shaw played pretty well - he set up a few of the runs that led to goals.

The irony in all of this for Goodes is he will most likely get the 3 Brownlow votes from tonight even though he could have won the game with the final kick.

Ironically without him we wouldn't even be close in some of this year's game. Tonight included.

If only we could win the close ones. That and poor kicking for goal has cost us a top six spot.

Not that we would have gone deep into the finals....but pride is on the line.

Devastating loss with potentially very big consquences for Top 8 considering we have an inform St Kilda and Geelong at Skilled on the run home. 9 behinds in the last quarter, just devastating.

Why do we let teams back into games and open the door, from bad decisions or poor disposals????????????????????????????????????????? ?? Why I am I always pissed off with this crap????????????

I'm gutted. It was a belter of a game but we should have put it to bed in the first 10 mins of the last quarter. It's easy to single out Jetta's handball but there were a lot of players who contributed to us not driving the nail in.

                      Me too, totally pissed off.

That was one very disappointing loss!

yep that 2.9 definitely meant we lost the game rather then them winning it..............but what a contest.........Goodes misses a sitter.........gives away 6pts in front with the penalty.........yet he still brings some much excitement and pleasure

Not his fault we can't kick straight. League footballers should be able to kick for goal better than that.
