Sensational game to watch but absolutely infuriating! I blame goodes for missing that last kick but we missed multiple chances in that last quarter to finish them off. We've lost a couple this year plus a draw due to our bad kicking. However while I'm disappointed greatly tonight I saw some really good signs out there tonight - we are not far off being a fantastic footy team. Oh and even though I always harp on about him, I can't not mention Sammy Reid. He was fantastic tonight and I think his kicking is beginning to cone good. He is the man we must mould our forward line around as he will be an absolute star.ter. aj

      We can take them.
They've won several on the trot - okay not top teams - but I love your positive thinking and hope we can beat them.

I thought Schneider played a cracker on Friday night. I guess to be fair, it was only in the last quarter that the Saints really unleashed. And they have almost zero chance of beating the Pies next week.

This is in addition to the fact that he gave that goal away as he was clueless to the rules.

        Pretty pathetic.

I'm really disappointed at the result and know that the boys would be very stung.
Dan Hannebery is a true blood in every sense of the word.
        Goodes is a FINE captain.
I hope that the people on this forum continually calling for TDLs inclusion now understand that his reserves performance does not translate as easily at seniors level and his is not the answer to our forward problems.

Tonight I would have thought was a 50/50 game. Adelaide was absolutely atrocious weather and while we were favourites, it was a factor.

I hold little fear against Richmond and the Lions.

Probably add Freo to that, our late 3rd quarter lapse cost us that game IMO.

I agree, just no guarantees, we have blown two 8 point games in the last four weeks, really not good for the psych in close games and let's not forget what lowly Richmond did to us last year either.

How good was Dan? He's definitely got the never-say-die attitude we want.

Whoever said that Goodsey was pathetic tonight should note that the commentators I was listenting to named him as the Swans' best player. I agree with the commentators. The value of his great play far outweighed his mistakes.

Speaking of which, Jude was quiet tonight - I wonder if he's carrying an injury.

Jack wasn't at his sparkling best either.
