Absolutely bloody disgraceful choke. @@@@ing useless.

We may scrape into the 8 still by default but really we don't deserve to be anywhere near it. We are a joke.

We lost by a point in one of the games of the year. We are a developing side with a bright future. We are far from a joke Robbo.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

He did try and minimise the damage by turning his body but it was still reckless. Will probably get a week.

I dont think he has anything to worry about at all, fair dinkum if he gets rubbed out for that, he pulled out, he could have done some serious damage if he wanted to

I didn't realise Jack had been reported. The impact was with his (Jack's) back as he turned. Can't see that being a suspendable offence.

He hasn't yet. Just MRP speculation.

I thought I saw the umpire take his number but I could have been mistaken.

That's a loser mentality mate. Losing a game when you are up by 2 goals with 3 minutes to go isn't acceptable. We lost a game we should of won end of story. The fact that we are developing a side for the future is irrelevant.

About as much as the DPP pays you to make sure he's put away for good.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

In fact if I recall correctly he was crucified after his last couple of games playing in the ruck (vs. Collingwood and Adelaide), across which he averaged 9 disposals and 8.5 hitouts.

Sometimes that backup ruck gig is a bit tricky.
Players are allowed the occasional quiet game. Jesse's were not occasional, they were the norm. LRT has shown the ability to take contested marks, kick goals, and provide a contest in the ruck. Furthermore, when you kick the ball to LRT, even if he doesn't take the mark, it never rebounds. So many times I've seen the ball kicked to LRT in the contest, and he will MAKE a contest. He will bring the ball to ground, and either get it loose if there's support, or tie it in if there's not. He traps the ball inside 50, which is better than what White has been able to manage.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Thinking we have a great future would to me seem to be the opposite of a loser mentality. Focusing on just the negatives would be. Look I'm disappointed we shot ourselves in the foot last night but we'll learn from that. Rather lose that game then do the same thing in a Semi.

Ahem - that is exactly what we did in last year's semi against the Bulldogs.

Not much has changed this year. We're still a couple of KPP's away from being real contenders.

Too late, we've done that too! I'm still trying to figure out just how we blew it against the doggies...

Nevertheless, this Swans team has lots to learn about being a consistent, smart disciplined football team. I'm starting to become quite indifferent to playing finals on the basis of the fact that we are no where near the top teams. Making up the numbers isn't really worth @@@@ all and as for finals experience, well yesterday's game was a good imitation. Both teams were hanging their season on wining that game and both teams went hard at it. We were just the ones that crumbled under the pressure.

                              Anyway rant over.

We gave up a 2 goal lead in the last 3 minutes in that game??

Giving up a 5 goal lead held before half time in modern footy isn't unusual.

Yes, this year we are a KP forward away from taking the next step. Sammy will continue to improve and hopefully we can get someone like Walker or Jesse can make the improvement necessary.
