Half the team were subs for most of the game

That was a great game of footy played at an incredible pace. I'm deeply deeply annoyed at some of the poor umpiring re advantage rule. There were two decisions where the Umpire, rather than the player, determined that advantage had been taken and I sincerely hope that the media focus on this as it clearly caused us to take two shots on goal under pressure rather than as set shots.
I'm really disappointed at the result and know that the boys would be very stung.
Dan Hannebery is a true blood in every sense of the word.
      Goodes is a FINE captain.
I hope that the people on this forum continually calling for TDLs inclusion now understand that his reserves performance does not translate as easily at seniors level and his is not the answer to our forward problems.

Sad thing about it, with 10 minutes left they were off their feet, 5 minutes left they were beaten and we still stuffed up.
I have no answers to the last 5 minutes rubbish, would love to hear what horse has to say,

Really? I always find it slightly easier to deal with a loss when they play for four quarters and have a good crack. Better than the rubbish we've seen in other games and that's just this year. Seen plenty, plenty worse in other seasons.

Forget the 8 or ladder positions.

What hurts is that we were 12 points up with 3.50min left. What hurts is that we missed easy goals. What hurts is that we had hope with Goodes and he missed.

One of the most deflating losses I have ever seen.

We played some good footy tonight and we're in the 8 all the awhile developing a team for the future. Horse is doing okay from where I sit.

Thanks gossip. That's not likely to happen.

But how many games have been won by over 100 pts this year? Might have been mentioned elsewhere and is off topic, but there is a chasm between the top teams and bottom half.

                      Pretty pathetic.
I thought he was great tonight and kept us in the game and worked hard. I'm not sure how your could judge his performance as "pathetic" at all he was clearly our best.

The one where nobody even had possession of the ball was a joke (Jetta was running on to it). The other one where Sammy was under pressure and facing backwards was almost as bad.

The advantage rule is ridiculous. I can't think of any other sport in the world where the whistle is blown before calling advantage and/or that it is supposedly up to the players whether they would like to play on.

What on earth happened??? I don't want to blame Goodes but his 3rd man up hit out was just @@@@. He is the captain of the footy club and should know the rules, plus be able to kick straight.
I See It But I Don't Believe It!!!!

it was silly mistakes that let them back in the game.
TDL does need to work on his pressure and defensive efforts, but his accuracy in the last qtr would have been handy...

Can someone please tell them to practice goal kicking. if they can be that accurate in the Coke Zero In comp we need to be that accurate in games...
9 behinds in that last qtrwe should have put them away with just one of them....
Jetta and i hate sayignt his needs a game or 2 in the 2nds before finals...
Hopefully Rohan played well today and be back in the squad in a week or 2....i doubt we beat Geelong at home, but as long as we beat St Kilda, Tigers and Lions we will be ok for finals, hopefully enough for a home final.

On the positives we at least played 4 qtrs, Hanners will be a future brownlow medallist i reckon....
Goodsey played outstanding ba the missed goals..he will poll 3 points for that game...

                              Goal kicking practice pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The problem is that they're aiming for the goal posts in that ad. We had no problem with that tonight - hit them a few times.
